I always use Remo Fiberskyn for snare drums, but tried Evans as they were a much better price. It sounds great

Great sound and feel.
I love these heads, but the coating isn't as resilient as most so needs replacing more frequently than common types. Use them all the time for traditional sounds. Texture with brushes is nice and not too rough.

excellent head similar to Remo fiberskyn, but I`m hoping it may have more durability. I have it on a DW 14x4 Copper shell snare and it sounds great. No need for any moongel, it seems to control the overtones naturally.

Love the sound. Warm, punchy, and stunning. Easy to tune. Ppl say don't play these if you're a rocker, but I've had no problems and they look amazing on my 60s ludwig kit.
