They do their job. Good quality
I've been buying these for years and the quality has never disappointed me. I have extensive gardens and, imo, the polytube irrigation is the only way to go.

Prevents back flow
Prevents water from flowing back into the Y valve I use for my camping hookup. I him my house for flushing my black water tank to this and my city water to the other side of the Y.

Seems to work well
The first thing you need to know, disregard the instructions that are on the package. That little screen that is attached to the rubber washer goes in the "top" of the backflow preventer, the female part that screws onto your hose bib. That screen will actually be facing upward. It does not go between the hose and the backflow preventer. Hand tightened it to the hose bib, hand tighten the hose to the device. Works perfectly, no water spray out the sides. If you want to check if it is working, turn on your hose at the faucet, but let the hose charge up without any discharge from the end. Turn off the faucet and no water should be going back into the system. Your hose should stay charged, or loosen up the backflow prevent or a little bit and then you will see water coming out from the top, but it is not going back through your pipe into your household water system

Poorly designed
Broke within 48 hours of use had a running leak luckily I caught it on time after noticing water wasn’t flowing through my irrigation system

Works, no leaks.
Works as advertised. No leaks. Used with other parts (90°, check valves, water flow counter) to build RV hose divider that feeds site water to drink and flush inlets. Comes with washers for easy and quick installation

Back flow stopper
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was setting up a garden drip irrigation system and needed this item so water from my irrigation system or hose couldn't flow back into hose bib into the house. Works great.

Very Strange
Better ones on the market. Purchased for RV Black Tank Rinsing Hose... took the hose off the main water connection and all the water in the hose came out through the Anti-Sipon backflow Preventer... strange
