Gigalumi solar lights are so beautiful and serene. They look like small candles lit up at a distance. You’ll want to keep looking at them. Installation is very easy. The solar lights were sent with some power in the batteries, I installed in the evening & the lights came on right away & stayed on all night. Three of the lights didn’t turn on from the next evening onwards. I contacted the seller & they promised to send me a new set of replacement lights. That was way more customer support than what I had expected. I would buy again from this seller in a heartbeat. The lights turn on at dusk & stay on till before dawn. Even on cloudy & rainy days the lights turn on without fail.

These are nice sized lights to put on an aluminum fence, which is my reason for ordering. They do include screws and anchors, but I use outdoor tape (2 small pieces) to attach to the middle of each fence panel. These solar lights are a pretty shade of brown with a slight metallic finish (see photo). There is one light in the bottom portion, surrounded by a milky-looking plastic cover. The single light does a good job of lighting up the plastic portion. Upon removing the plastic tape piece, the lights lit straight out of the box. The design of this light is slightly different from ones I have bought at a big box store, but the quality appears similar. Plus, I have not seen this bronze shade in stores. I have only seen solid black. The instructions that came with this light describe an on/off switch, but I do not see anything like that. I believe removing the battery would be the only way to turn them “off,” as once the plastic piece is removed, the light is “on.” Time will tell how they hold up, but I am very happy with these lights.

I contacted the seller no response so this is why the review is 1 star. I purchased two 12 packs for my new pool deck. I unpackaged everything and started to install with the provided screws. There are plastic strips that you must pull out in order for the lights to work. 7 out of the 24 are not working. The plastic strip ripped with a section still left inside. There is no way to retrieve it. So now I have have installed (With screws) lights that are not working . I am so mad I threw all the packaging away so I cannot return. Nice light but now my pool deck looks stupid with 7 lights out. They need to fix that strip so it does not tear when you pull it. Do not purchase for this reason UPDATE- The company finally reached out today, about 2 1/2 weeks later. They are offering to refund my money. I do appreciate that since they were broke. It took a while for a response but at least they cared enough to contact me and offer a refund.

Update 1/26/21: The sellers did reach out to me and wanted to make it right. They just refunded my purchase price and offered me another set for free. I thanked them but politely said that if the product design had not been changed to address my concerns, I would probably have the same issues again. I know others have been happy with this product, and the price is certainly good. Pros: Lights illuminate each step well. Cons: The screws they give you are too thin (the heads can break off) and the phillips head end is so small, it will strip very easily screwing into to wood steps. You can really only use them in drywall or plaster, with the provided sleeves. You will eventually need to unscrew them to replace battery, so I used small drywall screws that will be easy to remove. I made sure to place these to the side, because I can see that these can break if someone should step on it. I wish the plastic were more like one solid piece for durability. Not that rugged. Bottom line: These are cheap and not worth the money for use more than a few months. Will be looking for metal units that are better quality. I had one defective unit out of the 12. Update: 7 months later and moisture and bugs got into a few of them, all batteries had to be replaced in those that still worked. LED lights melt the plastic they are fixed next to.

This is a nice porch solar light kit that mostly works great, but the screws that came with it are so cheap that if they didn't strip completely while screwing down into a wood deck, then within 1 month they are completely deteriorating from rust making them very hard to get back out of the deck. Do yourself a favor and buy some new screws first that are immune to rust and screw these down with that. Otherwise you will damage your deck trying to pry theses by up.

These are the best solar lights I have ever bought (and I have bought many over the years!) They are easy to apply and I have also removed them and reapplied them using the same sticky pads and they adhered well leaving no damage where they originally were. They light up and last all night through until dawn, even on overcast days they still stay on all night.

Surprisingly, this product works really well. I had to use a different tape to put it on my deck but overall it has surpass time rain sun wind. It’s still working. Will remove them before the season and store them. Hope to use them again for next year.
