Good AC power supply, but OK performance on load regulation
The AC adapter is a pretty good value for the cost. The additional USB plug is a good plus. One of the thing on about these cheap AC adapter is the poor load regulation. A good regulation is the output voltage does not increase or decrease as the load increase. Most AC adapter does not do that. With this in mind, the AC adapter was tested for load regulation on the 5V, 12V, and 15V setting. For the 5V setting, it would appear the AC adapter was designed to a +/-5% tolerance. Under the the load load condition, the output is 5.309V, a little higher than the 5.25V for 5% tolerance. Under the maximum 3A load, the output voltage is 4.775V, again, very close to the 5% tolerance. For the efficiency, overall, very good. It performed in the 80% tile. See the attached plots for the details. For the 12V setting, it performed a little better. For the no load condition, the output is 12.428V and under the 2A maximum load, the output is 12.11. This is about a 3.5% tolerance. As for the efficiency, the 80% tile is reached if the load is 400mA and greaterFor the 15V setting, this has the best performance. For the no load condition, the output is 15.289V and under the 2A maximum load, the output is 14.943, this is below the 3.5% tolerance of the 12V setting. The efficiency also has the best performance. It was the most stable out of the three tested setting.

Easy to install without instructions
I use this in my garage connected to a power outlet. I had a battery-powered electric door lock and the battery would always drain or not be long-lasting. This was the solution! On the back of the power supply is where you can adjust what voltage is needed. It's easy to calculate and I'll give an example. My battery-powered door lock takes 4 AA batteries. Each battery is 1.5 volts. Multiply that by 4 you get 6 total volts. I set up the power supply for 6 volts. I soldered in the red power and black ground to the terminals on the battery supply which is on the motherboard of my electric door lock. It works and uses 100% max power each time whereas a battery that gets drained decreases the amount of max power. I am very happy that a product like this exist and I'll be buying more to put in more electric door lock around my house.

Disappointed
I bought this to use with a keyboard because I wanted to spare buying batteries since it's something I'd just like to fiddle around with now & then. Unfortunately, it appears the keyboard is too old to use a universal adapter because it doesn't work with it. I'm sure this adapter is a good product, I'm just not able to use it for what I intended. Maybe someday I'll have a different item that it can work with.

universal charger works as advertised
bought this to charge a large portable powerbank that needed 16V input. this works well for that. I also found with the variable voltage and tips, it works for several of my other toys. so this works well and is versatile for any electronics with lost chargers. Only one item it did not work on, but that's because that items connector is reverse polarity of - into + where this clearly states it is for + into - as most other of my devices. Good little product especially at this price.
