Must have if using loc-line
I got some loc-line to make a third hand++ (see instructables) and loc-line is very hard to get them together. One set of the loc-line came in one day (despite using the amazon prime 2 day shipping!!!) so I was playing with it before these arrived the next day and they are a real PITA to get together without. With the pliers, it's really easy. Sure, you may only use it a couple of times but it's totally worth it.

Do you really need this tool?
YES...you do. I was on the fence at first because of its cost. Plus the fact I would probably use this tool only once. But the ease of use working with LocLine, far outweighs the cost as well as erases all doubts of purchasing this tool for the job. Trust me...just buy it. Your time has got to be worth something.

These were important in installing a new dust nozzle on my scroll saw.
If you are replacing a nozzle on your scroll saw, this is the tool you need.

Works fine
I used this 3 times and it works fine. Not sure why others say it is not strong enough to work. I used the 1/4" version and was the right tool for the job. I tried connecting 2 pieces without the tool and could not get them together. I just wish it was less expensive.

Works great to join pieces together. Is not for separating
I've had no problem using it to join locline pieces together and makes that job much easier than doing without a tool. Just need to make sure you put the pieces in the correct way and take a little time to make sure they're in there properly. I just wish they had made a tool that both joins and separates. This tool is only for joining.

Would work for the right product
I got these to use on heavy duty joints, not for the coolant hose system. I think they would work for what they are designed for but the pieces I had required a heavy duty solution. This just couldn't keep up but that's fine

Almost essential for Loc Line
If you want to use Loc Line, then you need these Pliers. They make it simple to assemble and break down the line.
