I have to let them out to almost their max length. I'm 6'2 and weigh quite a bit so I have more area to cover with suspenders then most but on a real tall guy or a real fat guy they probably wouldn't be quite enough. But I'm fairly tall and fairly fat so I think for 90% of people that be fantastic. I did have to kind of swivel the clips around so that they face the right way and it wasn't difficult, it just took me a minute to realize that they had gotten a little twisted at some point and that's why they weren't working quite right.

I was having issues with my previous pair of suspenders that hooked onto my belt. The belt loop on the back of my work pants is very wide so it would hook. This clip style seemed to be the answer. The design is great but this is definitely for that single use wedding occasion. The adjustment hardware is very sharp on the underside for some reason. I wear an under shirt. Then I put the suspenders over that. I wear my work shirt of the top of both. After two weeks I’ve noticed the adjustment buckles won’t stay put. They’ll slide throughout the day. If you have them set too low or high they’ll rub you raw in areas. Now the clasp will release throughout the day. I thought it may be my belt unclipping them but tested them without the belt and same results. In the trash and on to the next pair. These would be perfect for a wedding or costume but not for actual use.

As a new user, I'm satisfied with these suspenders. Construction is adequate, although I see how poor quality control and the number of seams and joints could lead to performance problems. Grips the fabric of my pants strongly. Adjustment was easy.

These work well for keeping your pants up. They are not really intended for carrying a lot of weight and are certainly not the same as work-related suspenders where you have heavy pants with wallet, a knife and other such things strapped to your pants. These are basically dress suspenders. Other brands that I've bought that are designed like these have tended not to last very long because the elastic is not very strong. They work great for a while but then tend to peter out with use. Time will tell how well these wear. The clips on these are absolutely perfect for dress pants that you don't want to damage. I would never recommend the jaw type clips that bite hard into the fabric of the waistband. These clips are perfect. Normally I put buttons on my pants. These suspenders allow you to hold up your pants without interfering with a flexible waistband. These go nicely with the pair of Haggar pants that I bought on Amazon.

I've been wearing these suspenders for about two months now. They ARE a nice looking pair of suspenders - I have the plain brown pair. However, there is one problem - I've stopped wearing them. The attachments on the back keep coming loose - which is problematic, because trying to reconnect the back clips is difficult at best. And they don't come loose like once a day, they come loose much more frequently, to the point that even though I like the way they look, it's just too damn annoying having to constantly reconnect them. Also, a lesser issue is also that the stitches on the back leather piece is fraying. Not a big deal...to be expected, but just can't get over the back clips coming undone. I just ordered some new suspenders from several different brands and I'll give some feedback, as well.

Works exactly like I hoped. The clasps are strong and work on heavy or light weight waste bands. The straps are wide enough to be comfortable.

Do you wear pants (or skirts)? Do they keep falling down because you have tiny hips/butt that won't hold your belt-line in place? Try these suspenders and hold up your pants with straps that go over your shoulders instead of relying on just a belt! Lol. Love the clamps on these, will grip your pants or your belt just fine. Better than some other styles I've tried in the past. Dual clamps on the back go in the center of the pants, one clamp on each side in front. They seem fairly durable but don't treat them too roughly or they will bend out of shape. Extends to a very long length, too - adjustable on both sides with a little sliding metal clip. Good for anyone from 5'4" up to 7'2" maybe, depending how long your torso is compared to your overall height. (My spine wanted me to be 6'10" but my legs wanted me to be 4'8" so I wound up at 5'11" and these fit fine.) The adjustable clips hold their position firmly, won't slip or move even after several days of use.

Quality is good but color its written maroon I received in hot red color wch is not lookin appealing

Great suspenders with the original Y back. The straps have a firm stretch feel like they would hopefully last for years to come. And are on the wide side (more than inch ) and easily adjustable for body height. The star of the show are - the clasps, they are really well made from “heavy duty metal clips with round plastic inserts design” making the clips sturdy. The clasps’ holds on tight, and won’t snag your clothes (like the metal teeth clasps) The clasp are strong, while still being able to easily open and close (good for people have arthritis too) Thanks kindly for a great product!!!
