Very flavorful, which is especially noticeable when hard-boiled, as many hard-boiled eggs can be bland, as they're not cooked in butter or oil. Though I suppose it depends on how you make your hard-boiled eggs (we use the following method: bring eggs and water to boil, remove from heat, add salt; stir and cover, then set timer to nine minutes for large eggs -- it's the perfect formula if you like your yolks firm-soft), so far every time we've hard-boiled these Vital Farms eggs, they've been very easy to peel. Even if a bit pricey, these eggs are definitely worth it, as the taste is outstanding, and it's reassuring to know that the hens have been well-fed and well-treated.. We tend to eat very little meat, so getting high quality, tasty protein from other sources is important, and these eggs never disappoint. Apologies to the hens for eating their would-be chicks, but at least we can assume that the hens are happy being fed quality feed in a pasture environment that gives them room to move about.
