Asterix: Asterix and the Chariot Race: Album 37

I've been a fan of these comics from the States ever since I was a kid. The artwork is aesthetic, the humor is relatable and the stories are engaging, even with so many similar elements from book to book. Surprisingly complex and taught me a lot about ancient history when I was growing up. Once you're hooked, you'll never tire of watching the Gauls beat the Romans up time and again. May these grand adventures never come to an end!

This book is every bit as good as Uderzo and Goscinny's classics! And Jean-Yves Ferri must be prescient about current events. NO spoilers from me, if you read it you will know ;)

Great comic! Love especially how Coronavirus was masked and a villain three years prior to the hoax coming to the USA.

A good book but the new authors seem to be searching for a story and just seem to fall a bit short of the originals. Love the humor. Hope for better in their next attempt.

I love the series and so does my son. The premise of this story had incredible potential but it just doesn't work all that well. Also, Asterix being the aggressor in a fight or two, particularly in the way he instigates them, seems a bit out of character. I get it that the new team still needs to find their groove. I hope with the fourth album they'll get there.

Not bad, since it is not in the canon it does not have the magic and enduring appeal of the original comics by Goscinny and Uderzo.

This is a good one but the story & dialogues are not what it used to be. But the book has all the elements of traditional asterix books. The climax is very predictable. Definitely a must to have in collection to any asterix and obelix fan.

O livro é ótimo, bem acabado. Mas, de onde vocês tiraram a ideia de ser livro para crianças? Asterix é um quadrinho inteligente, voltado a coleionadores... É descabida essa pergunta sobre idade! Chega a ser ofensiva!

Good read for the whole family, from 7 to 77 years old.
