Sperry Women's Authentic Original™ 2 Eye Leather Boat Shoe

Exactly what I had expected. Real leather shoes with 4 eyelits (2 on each side) with gold grommets for lace reinforcement, white slip proof soles, and comfortable insoles that don't reduce the shoes size when worn. The Sperry Original Boat Shoes are comfortable and don't really need to be broken in. These shoes will last a long time if properly cared for. I still have my original pair that I wear for outdoor work in the yard, and have had them for at least 6 years and they are still holding strong. This new pair will last longer for business and casual dress. They are true to size, the leather is very durable, look great and the sole isn't too thick or chunky. Absolutely a 5 star winner! Love them! Great value for the money!

I bought these shoes because I desperately needed a pair of close-toed shoes to wear in the colder months other than boots and work-shoes. I have worn these shoes every.single.day. since they arrived. They are slightly lighter in color than they are pictured online, but I am very pleased with the color. They did take some breaking in--I wore them with socks, and sometimes even bandaids on my heels to prevent blisters from forming, for about a week until I was able to comfortably wear them barefoot. They don't smell, go with casual and slightly dressier outfits, and are so easy to slip on as I'm running out the door somewhere. I did not purchase the rain and stain protectant that Sperry sells for them on their website, therefore they have been getting pretty wet whenever it rains more than a drizzle. However, they dry extremely fast (as they should being boat shoes!) so it hasn't been too much of a problem. They stretch to fit your feet, so don't buy a pair that fit slightly too big at the start--they should be a perfect or even slightly snug fit to start. When breaking them in I made sure to bend the heel and toe part around, removing my feet and stepping on them while I was sitting down. This helped break them in even quicker. They have comfortable insoles that come with them--I wore these on vacation to Scotland last week and walked several miles a day without foot pain. Some people might want to purchase thicker insoles to replace the ones that come in the shoes if you have sensitive feet or very high arches. I have resisted buying a pair of these for years, I do not know why--I will now always have a pair in my closet!

I really wanted to love these sperrys. My boyfriend has the exact same pair in men's sizing so I figured that I'm getting a women's pair to match. I've read all the reviews about sizing on amazon and still went ahead and ordered my regular size (I wear an 8.5 in most brands such as Nike and Frye engineer and an 8 in UGG and Frye Melissa boots). My toe box is medium sized maybe a little on the wide side. I should mention that before these sperrys arrived on Sunday, I paid a visit to Woodbury outlets on Saturday and picked up another pair of sperrys and a new pair of Bass wenjuns. Both are 8.5 and fit very very comfortably. The woodbury sperrys differ from these Amazon sperrys in that the straps are not made of leather but fabric, and there is no plaid design on the insole - the insole is purely plain color. They are the most comfortable shoes I have worn in a long time and are about as comfy as a pair of minnetonka flats I've worn for 2 years. HOWEVER, when these Amazon sperrys arrived, they looked immaculate in the box but are a pain to wear! I compared the toe boxes and realized that they are narrower than the woodbury ones (NOT marked as wide). The length is exactly the same. Confused but persistent, I kept them on my feet for half an hour but could not imagine having to break it in. I ended up returning these shoes. The price on Amazon is great, the shoes are gorgeous, but they are for those with narrow feet.

Perfect! I've been wearing these for at least 35 years and the quality is still there. Love, Love Sperry shoes!

I'm a fan of Sperry Topsiders. They last forever and are great for everyday wear. I decided to give these a spin (even though they looked kind of pink in the pictures) because they were on sale that day. The color is like a mulberry or mulled wine. It's actually pretty neutral in terms of color, the wine version of a navy or grey, I suppose. As usual the soles are grippy and the laces adjustable. These ones come with a ribbon lace that's hunter green and mulberry, which is kind of festive. It reminds me of the colors of the early 1990s where everyone had that hunter green and wine color in their home dec catalogs. I would have preferred a simple tan cord. This ribbon tends to slip so once you get the shoes broken in you'd probably want to tie a secure, more permanent knot. Also, it seems to be sewn in somewhere along its length so it's not easily removed, which I tried to do as soon as I got them out of the box. Overall, 8 out of 10. One star off for the ribbon laces and one star for their usual lack of arch support, which is easily remedied by removing the insole that comes with the shoes and replacing with a different insert such as from the drugstore.

Not the old Sperry boat shoes - they seem to be made with some type of vinyl - plastic mix. They are extremely narrow. I got them on sale for like $20, so I just threw them in the trash. Save your money.

I love these boat shoes! I order the 9 & they fit perfect. It suggests 8.5 but looked on size & ordered my reg size. These are so comfortable & easy to slip on. I wear them everyday

Angenehm zu tragen, bequem und schick. Gute Verarbeitung. Hatte zwar die Hoffnung, das Leder sei noch weicher, aber ich bin trotzdem zufrieden für den Preis.

Der Sperry Bootschuh ist ein Klassiker, der eigentlich immer geht. In der natur-braunen Ausführung gefällt er mir besonders gut. Am schönsten ist er mit freiem Knöchel zu Skinny Jeans. Zu dem Preis ein echtes Schnäppchen! Nachtrag: 28.09.2014 Nachdem ich den Schuh jetzt einige Male getragen habe, bestätigt sich der positive Eindruck. Sehr bequem!

Confortable et beau. Comme si les photos, bonne qualité. Les chaussures couinent un peu au début mais cela part après les premières minutes portées. La livraison a été un peu compliquée à comprendre mais elles sont ici et je les adore !
