What’s the difference between the ho cp 6.0 and the ho xc 6.0 batteries?

HO is high output and XC extended capacity. HO are the latest and most powerful.

Is it larger than the 5.0 in size?

The 6.0 is larger than the 5.0 and the 6.0 and 8.0 are the exact same size and the 9.0 and 12.0 are the exact same larger size. Do NOT listen to the other guys answer, it is 100% wrong.

Does this purchase come with charging base?

No, but it will charge with existing Milwaukee chargers. However this battery will not work with older Milwaukee tools.
