Works as expected.
On my 3rd season with this headlamp. The glow in the dark casing is amazing. I change my battery’s out at the end of every season otherwise it’ll corrode. Must use the strap. The sticker mount just pops off. No complaints, and wouldn’t change anything. Super easy to cycle through the white and red lights.

my all-time favorite headlamp!
Of all the headlamps I've had, the Pelican Headlamp lasted well over 10 years, in fact it never really died, the strap and battery cover gave out. of course I got another Pelican... Easy, comfortable and reliable! The new one is even better and looks like it'll last too!

This IS THE UNIT
No-holds barred! This is a great Headlamp! They've lasted me on average 3 1/2 years of steady use. Yes, like all things it'll wear out. Map/star light( red) is a great feature. Low Power Draw, batteries last quite awhile, red indicating lights for need to replace soon.

Not stupid bright but runs through batteries
Survived 2 hitches so far in the oil field. Still running strong. Does use up batteries a good little bit though.

Awesome Headlamp
Very bright, three position headlamp. Never have to dig around looking for it at night due to its famous Pelican glow. Very useful in the tool box.

Not exactly as advertised
Bought because I own a the Pelican flashlight with the Correct Color, and that’s what this was advertised as. Still a great light out of the box and looks as if great quality as all other Pelican products I’ve bought have been. Just not as advertised, even the pic on listing says Correct Color.

Supera las expectativas
Es perfecta. La usé en mi casco mientras tenía actividades en exterior e interior el mismo día y no se daña o sobre calienta por estar en contacto directo con el Sol o en las áreas de interior con más de 35 °C. Útil para espacios reducidos y con poca luz. A todo mundo le llama la atención. Lo malo es que le dura muy poco la batería. Sí la compran recomiendo uso de pilas recargables.

High light putput with Long lasting battery
This headlamp is one of Pelicans best models imo. Adequatly high lumen, affordable, compact, light weight, simple and easy to use. The battery life so far has been exeptional and is something in a light i depend on heavily. I work 12hr night shifts outside in varying weather conditions at an oil refinery and have been using this light mainly on low power mode on amd off for long extended periods of time 30mins to 3hrs. I have not changed the energizer batteries it came with and have been using this light for 3 weeks so far. AMAZING! I suspect this efficiency of this 2nd mode is due to using PWM (pulse width modulation) essentially the LED turns off and on at a high frequency. By doing this less energy is used in this mode as opposed to the constant on 1st mode which is the highest output brightness. You can tell its PWM because fast moving or rotating objects have a stroboscopic effect to them. The 1st mode is very useful for when You need that extra light throw or to illumonate an area. An added bonus is the phosfluorescent casing which stays glowing after the light is switched off in the dark. Overall i HIGHLY recommend this light as it is useful in a multitude of situations.
