L.A. Girl Beauty Brick Eyeshadow, Nudes, 0.42 Ounce, Powder

Third time buying LA Girl The Nudes over the past couple years. With around 25 palettes of varying quality in my collection, high end to drugstore, the LA Girl Nudes is in almost daily rotation. Why? The quality of the mattes, the color selection, and the longevity of wear. I simply love this palette and hope they never stop making it. As a mature lady, this eyeshadow goes on smoothly, doesn't settle in fine lines, and has great pigment. I use an eyelid primer before all my powder eyeshadow application (Flower Beauty, Milani, or Mac painterly paint pot, whichever I'm in the mood for). I always reach for this palette to lay down a base, there's a light peachy shade in here that I just love for this, as well as a light off-white. I am fair skinned, but there's something about this palette that probably would work for all complexions. At this price, this eyeshadow palette is a steal, I have eyeshadows that I paid a lot more for that don't make me as happy as this one does.

Five stars across the board for this eyeshadow. The pigment is rich and only takes a few strokes to get really good color. I can get a natural look and a smokey eye out of it by only using the colors in it. I take this one with me when I travel because I only need to bring it. My complexion is light to medium, but with eyeshadow primer I think darker tones could use it just as well, that's how good the pigment is. It stays put and lasts all day. I wear it up to 12 hours a day and it looks just as good at 12 hours as it did at 1 hour. I do wear it with eyeshadow primer, so I am not sure if it would last that long if it was applied without it. Sometimes I actually pass up on purchasing products that are this inexpensive because I think they will not work as well, but I am so glad I went ahead and bought it. I like it way better than a Marc Jacobs nude palette I have. I will forsure be buying more products from this brand.

I've worn makeup for years but am new to palettes. I purchased a drugstore one that had pretty, pigmented colors, but the shadows were SO intense that I felt that the wound up all looking muddy on me.This palette seemed like it would be more beginner friendly. I liked that there were several shades in the pinky brown category, which I thought would be more neutral while also working well with my brown eyes. I also liked that this palette comes with a brush and is a more compact size. Plus, it was extremely affordable!I do really like this palette. The shadows have nice pigmentation while also being easy to blend, and I found them easier to apply than the previous palette I purchased. I have experienced some fallout from the shadows. However, the staying power has been very good, although I have been lightly priming my eyes with powder or concealer.The one thing that I would note is that the colors are a bit different than I expected. The product description says that the palette includes "nudes and brights, shimmers and mattes." Well, out of the twelve shades, I believe that only three are matte, and I would not really consider any to be "brights." Also, they are pretty much all nudes, several of which look very similar. There are a couple of shades that have a slight purple-y tone, including the second-to-last one from the right (which I had thought was a dark brown).In the end, this is a very nice palette at a great price that I would recommend, especially for anyone looking for mostly shimmery neutral shades.

I recently purchased this pallet for my wife. She is as she puts it, "a makeup freak". So this means I am in turn a makeup freak. LOL LOL LOL I wasn't entirely sure how this would work out but I saw it and thought it would be a nice little gift. When it got here I opened it just to see what it looked like. Sometimes when you buy things the picture doesn't do it justice, either it over sales or under sales whatever it is you are buying. I love the packaging it looks sleek and I thought to myself immediately, this is going to make me look good. I also may or may not have touched the powder itself... Don't you dare judge me! It was very silky and it even had a little mirror in the actual case. When I gave it to her she almost flipped she's expressed to she was thinking about getting it, I then said I know. Love these little things and I would encourage all the guys and girls out there who want to give little just because gifts go ahead and get this got a great price point that you definitely can't beat.

I've been searching for a decent eye palate for a while. I've purchased and returned items from Laura Geller, Bare Minerals, Karity, and other well regarded companies. Each one has disappointed me in a different way and all cost more than this product. I chose this because the colors were exactly what I was looking for. The amount of pigmentation is perfect, it goes on smoothly with a brush or sponge applicator, the colors blend well, the range of colors works well for day or night, and the colors are each distinct. So far, no caking or flaking. This is by far the best eyeshadow palate I've ever purchased. I plan on getting more for myself and getting some to give as gifts.

I loved this when I first got it, but after using it for just a few weeks, I've decided I will not buy it again. The cover fell off the eyeshadow almost immediately which is frustrating. Even when it was still attached, it did not stay shut so the brush was alway falling out in my make-up bag. The colors are really pretty and go on nicely, but it takes kind of a lot to show up on my eyelids and I am halfway through one color in just a week. I will not be buying this again.

Don’t waste your money on a Naked palette. This eyeshadow palette is so much better! Buildable coverage that starts subtle and goes really bold as you add more! Even with a small amount of product, it won’t melt off with sweat and oil. After all day wear I don’t even have creases. The colors are gorgeous! I have the nude one and purple. Non irritating too. I LOVE this eyeshadow!!

I've been shopping eyeshadow palettes since before Christmas. I am always amazed by how expensive they are. Since I make a practice of throwing out old make up after a year, this can sometimes get costly. I found this LA Girls palette for a reasonable price and it is as good or better than many of the ultra expensive ones I tried!!! Plus it really is a gorgeous collection!!! Plus if you want a selection LA Girls has this two. You can get more than one awesome palette for less than just one of many others and when I say expensive I am not kidding!!! Think $40 bucks or over.I LOVE this eyeshadow set!!! I will continue to shop for these eyeshadows in the future. If I could give 10 stars, I would. Go for it ladies because you cannot beat this!!!

I love the eyeshadow palette. Very pretty colors. They don't go on cakey and last. Little bit shimmery. The only thing I didn't like was the brush that comes with it literally fell apart once I applied it to my eyes. There were bristles all over my eyelid. I thought that was strange. But I had other eyeshadow brushes on hand so wasn't a big deal.
