Covidien 2132 Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing, 3" x 4" (Pack of 100)

My wife took a big piece of skin off her finger with a new potato peeler, and to stop the bleeding I initially used a gauze bandage. This stopped the bleeding, but the gauze stuck to the wound and the bleeding restarted when I changed the dressing. I have used gauze pads for most of my life - treating many wounds of various types but have minimal experience with non-stick bandages. My wife went to a doctor’s visit the next day, and they cleaned and redressed the wound using Covidien Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing (3" x 4"). The doctor gave her a few to take home for the next dressing change and recommended the product for future use. I ordered this 100-pack of Covidien 2132 (3" x 4") Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing, and I can attest that they perform flawlessly. For the next week, all her dressing changes lacked any of the pain or re-bleeding because of the bandage sticking. Excellent product, I highly recommend Telfa Non-Adherent Dressing.

5 stars for the product- easy to use bandage that does not stick to wound 1 star for shipping package. Product comes in very flimsy paper box and Amazon ships it out in an packing envelope !?! Box is 3×4×6 Envelope is flat. So what happens .... box is ripped and totally flattened out and bandages are loose in the envelope.

These 3” by 4” non-adherent dressing pads work great for wound care. I have purchased these several times for my Grandma who has multiple skin issues. These pads are very absorbent and what I love most about them will not stick to the wound bed. This has helped to decrease the amount of pain endured during a dressing change. One work of caution that other have mentioned is that this product does contain Latex. I am unsure of the amount but with this being a common allergy be sure that this won’t be an issue for yourself. These are very cost effective to those who need to use them on a regular bases – much cheaper than what I can buy at local stores. Will plan on purchasing more in the future as needed. Overall a great product to have on hand when needed.

My seepage from burn was pretty extreme. Each day the pads would be brick hard with dried matter. Wetting pads good in shower was extreme plus for any gauze pads, and spraying under sides of pads. CVS non-stick gauze pads stuck badly even after wetting, Johnson and Johnson hospital grade pads stuck some after wetting, these Telfa (tefal it seems) pads pushed right off by shower head and I didn't have to touch them. I just sprayed water under edge and they peeled off themselves. They were glossier than other pads. This has helped my wound heal way faster in the two days I've had them. It like the progress I made each day was ripped off when I changed bandages. Someone commented they were a little thin. I could care less because they didn't stick, because I care about pain more than some excess seepage running down my leg or coming through the gauze pad and gauze wrap. Besides, I had plenty of other pads that I could stack on good telfa pad, rather than throw other pads away. Lastly, these were easy to open with no scissors sterily by grabbing tabs on side, and they were way cheaper than pharmacy ones. 3M Micropore Paper Tape - 1 x 10 Yds - Box 12 was a good buy too. The tape rips off by hand and sticks very well.

No adhesive. Bought these when I ran out of my box of Telfa but quickly discovered they have no adhesive, so you must use tape or another dressing to hold them on. Just be aware of this. I assumed they were the same as the ones I had before that has adhesive at the edges. My mistake I guess.

Used this for my dog after surgery. Great size . Was able to cut to the size I needed as her wound kept getting smaller. Was nice to use because it did not stick to the wound but protected it.

Does what their made for.

Ayuda muchísimo si tienes alguna herida que debe sanar, los parches tienen muy buen tamaño.

These work perfectly. We used them to dress a wound with Manuka honey and they did not stick to the scab or wound at all.
