Wonderful pot, one small flaw with the handle, easily fixed
I’ve had this for a year, and I LOVE it. After learning a few tricks, it makes consistently great coffee and I’m glad I bought it. One half star off for one small but fussy design flaw, but I figured out how to deal with that. I absolutely recommend this Moka pot, even with the flaw. I had a traditional aluminum moka pot that I dropped and bent the threads on. I knew if I got another I wanted stainless steel so I could put it in the dishwasher (and because aluminum is problematic anyway), and I chose this one because of the glass - I could never tell when the aluminum one was close to done or not. Pros- Very easy to clean, class is borosilicate and very strong, handle doesn’t get hot, coffee is consistent and great now that I’ve figured it out. I love watching it brew through the glass. I’m not worried about ruining the threads if I accidentally start to cross thread, it’s very sturdy. Cons- Only one. The handle becomes loose at the top and pops off the edge of the glass, and becomes wigglier with time. Turns out there’s a screw on the underside of the handle you can loosen, put it all back together and tighten again. It still pops off the glass but it doesn’t wiggle or feel like it’s going to fall apart. Once I figured this out, I was really happy. For a while I was afraid to pick it up full of blazing hot coffee. I’m not sure how they would fix this, so I’ve chosen to live with it. Perfection can be elusive! Tips: Definitely use fine/espresso grind, fresh if you can. Don’t tamp down the grounds in the basket at all, maybe a few taps at most. Don’t leave a hump, level off to flat. It brews REALLY FAST if you put boiling water in (use a towel to hold the bottom while you tighten the tip, it’s very hot). Like really fast, under a minute. The coffee is very strong, nearly espresso level. I mix it 1:1 with steamed milk to make two 10oz cups of coffee, or else pour it over ice and add milk for a nice strong cold coffee.

The Best Moka Pot I’ve Owned — Sturdy, Beautiful, and Makes Incredible Espresso
I’ve owned three or four moka pots over the years, and this one is by far the best. The glass top is such a great feature — you can see the coffee brewing, which makes the process feel more precise and elevated. It feels sturdy and well-constructed, not flimsy like some others I’ve tried. It seals properly and brews consistently smooth, rich stovetop espresso. The flavor is bold without tasting burnt, and it heats evenly. If you love stovetop espresso, this is absolutely worth it. Beautiful design, easy to use, and truly the best one I’ve owned. Five stars.

Get it.
I will give 5 stars because the material seems perfect for me. It felt sturdy enough when it arrived, we bought this moka pot because we are trying to have as little hormone disrupters as possible for our family. So when it arrived it was great; last 2 pictures where before the 9cup moka pot lid fell of. I wanted to make the review because I had ordered a different brand of the same material and it didn’t felt sturdy enough, didn’t matter how tight I closed it the coffee got all over the place, it was a mess. I found this brand, decided I was gonna risk and ordered 2 different sizes and honestly I love my moka pots. But I don’t know if it was heat, the 9cup moka pot lid fell and when I checked it was a little screw that it has and where is holding the piece entirely together. I took pictures but I don’t think you can appreciate clearly. I will try customer service and see how can they help if they are willing to do so. I will update accordingly. It works perfect, it brews my coffee exactly as I love, I have 4cups and 9cup and both I adore.

Efficient works as expected, gasket a little leaky
I was a little concerned this Moka type brewer as it's off-label-ish. But it makes espresso-like coffee that's tasty black the way I prefer. Electric stove it takes a little longer than on flame. We've had it brewin' up the Elixir of The Sacred Bean camping and at home. Uses a lot of grind but no more than usual Moka pots. The darker color is kinda nice too. Only thing that I'm concerned about is the longevity of the gasket and the lack of info how to replace the original when it fails. You have to really crank the sucker down to avoid leaks and ensure the right pressure for the brew. My Mate cannot unscrew it when finished (be CERTAIN it's cooled before you unscrew it!). It takes a decent amount of hand strength. That's this Moka pot's only flaw really. It doesn't come with cleaning instructions which is a bummer, but I wash it like other Moka pots, the gasket can be removed (carefully) with a slim edge tool (slimmer than a butter knife) and the guts and expeller screen cleaned with hot water. If you use dish soap (barely a touch) be absolutely meticulous in thoroughly rinsing everything in the hottest water possible, you want oils removed but not any soap residue left behind (it there are no lingering bubbles, one more rinse to finish). The lil' stainless cups are kinda cool too—a value-plus for the price.

Highley recommend for the perfect cup of coffee
The best cup of coffee! I experienced this wonderful coffee at a bridal shower recently and asked the Bride where I could get it and she sent me the link. Hands down the best cup of coffee I’ve had in a long time. I’m retiring my big pot now. It’s the perfect brew, and is a great the price and fits anyone’s budget. Add a milk frother and you’ve done away with the coffee shop.

Makes Great Espresso! Easy to use
The Gator Moka Pot has completely exceeded my expectations and become an indispensable part of my daily routine. One of the standout features for me is the effortless cleaning process it offers. Unlike other coffee makers I've used in the past, the Gator Moka Pot's design allows for a hassle-free cleanup. Its components are easy to disassemble, and each part can be cleaned thoroughly without any difficulty. This not only saves me time but also ensures that I can enjoy my freshly brewed coffee without worrying about lingering residues. Assembling and disassembling the Gator Moka Pot is a breeze, making it a user-friendly option for both experienced coffee enthusiasts and newcomers to the world of stovetop brewing. The precision engineering of its parts ensures a snug fit during assembly, eliminating any concerns about leaks or spills. I've found that even on my groggiest mornings, I can put the Gator Moka Pot together without any fumbling or frustration. It's this level of user-friendliness that truly sets the Gator Moka Pot apart, making it an ideal choice for those who value both convenience and exceptional coffee.

Handle came off within a dozen uses
Coffee that it brews is wonderful, hot and full bodied. The glass shows you exactly when to take it off the heat. However, it has very sharp inner edges when unscrewing and cleaning out the used grounds, be careful not to cut your fingers against the rim. The entire handle and lid part came off after a dozen uses. It was only was weakly held by three or four tiny dots of solder. I was very disappointed there was no good way to reattach that piece.

Lecker

Fabulous in every way.
Fabulous coffee pot!! There is something calming and reassuring about seeing the coffee arriving into the clear glass top!! The whole pot seems very robust, including the glass, and the handle is attached via a stainless steel strip running the length of the glass. Much better than a similar one I’ve seen wher the handle is fixed via a screw through the glass. Each of the three parts, the base, the coffee ‘cradle’, and the top fit together seamlessly, and cleaning is simple and quick. This is my first stainless steel mocha pot, I’ve always just gone for the traditional aluminium Italian types. While the appeal of those types is undeniable, the stainless steel version seems more modern, practical, and just as aesthetically pleasing, albeit in a slightly different way. I already get the feeling it’ll last longer too, and not tarnish anywhere near as quickly as the Bialetti types (which are lovely too of course!). I’m a very happy buyer.
