I have a 2009 Honda Odyssey with a DVD player, which seemed like a fun way tfoe the kids to spend a road trip. But quickly learned that I don't like listening to everything the whole way. The owners manual mentions that the van originally had headsets included, but those weren't with the van when I bought it 14 years later. But with a little effort, I found these IR headphones and figured it was worth a try. And guess what, they work perfectly! No fiddling with it or anything. Just pop in 2 AAA batteries, make sure it is switched on, and turn on the DVD, and it just worked! It cuts out if you lean down out of view of the screen. And just fyi,and they don't work in the front seats, which is really only relevant if you're sitting in the front seat while trying to see if these work. So don't be alarmed if they don't work in the front seat. Just move to the back and try again. Comfortable to wear too. I used them for a few hours and I was pleasantly surprised at how good these sounded and how comfortable they were. And no complaints from my kids.We've only used them for one road trip so far, so I can't say how long they'll hold up.
