Bought this spray paint in a Matt finish to touch up the exhaust pipes on my Honda Rebel Motorbike and even though it looked glossy when first sprayed it dried to the perfect finish for my bike. Also once ridden the paint remained in the same condition. Absolutely brilliant solution for discoloured motorbike exhaust pipes, which spoils the look of the bike, so super pleased. I use this to spray the inside of my wood burner a few months ago, where the inside Vermiculite fire boards were white, for some reason they don’t come in black. I know this sounds odd, but my fire surround and hearth is all black marble, so I wanted it to blend in and not look odd, plus it irritated me. It was really easy to spray on, with minimal mess and one tin did all of my boards. I’ve had no flaking, no peeling, no change in colour and no smell, I’m really impressed as I was worried at first that it would just burn off or change colour, but is has stayed a nice Matt black. This stuff is really heat resistant, up to 800c, a typical wood burner only reaches 600c so all good. I would highly recommend, really pleased I did it. Update: 5 months later after a winter of use, the inside of my fire is now back to its original off white colour, I guess it will just need to be re-sprayed again so it looks good when not in use during the summer months.

It seems to me that when you purchase a new gas barbecue and use it for one year a few times by the next year comes around, dispite keeping it undercover, it looks very tired and 'used'. I purchased this paint to bring our barbecue back to new look condition and my goodness does it work. The finish is exactly the same quality as when the barbeque was new. It does not smell and I cannot praise the quality finish as it is LIKE NEW again. So would highly recommend. I noticed that it took about 10 days to arrive but it is well worth while and I received a lovely letter from the supplier regarding who to contact if there was any problems, with a telephone number for a quick response. How many suppliers actually supply a telpehone number these days! So I would highly recommend using this supplier.

Spraying old Coles on log effect burner

Maybe its me but i found it hard to judge the strength/spray of this so wasted a bit messing about, looks good once applied but there is a definite skill to applying it evenly
