Genuine RAK seat. Extremely high quality product
I can’t believe the reviews on this product. I was sceptical after reading them myself but when it came, I was not disappointed. This is an ORIGINAL RAK seat. Came packed better than some jewellery boxes. It’s worth 5 stars all day long.

Annoying label
Seat is slightly smaller than older version but looks good. There was a label on the underside of lid that was difficult to remove and the sticky residue is extremely difficult to remove… still trying, don’t want to use anything abrasive as it will scratch . Disappointing

A big improvement over the previous model
I bought this to replace an older model seat and lid from RAK Ceramics. This seat is better for a few reasons:1. It's more comfortable. The depressed/concaved seat is far more comfy than the previous one which was convexed.2. It's easier to install3. The soft-close mechanism is built into the seat rather than the hinges4. It's cheaper (the old hinges cost as much as the whole set of seat, cover and hinges here)5. It looks sleeker and more modernThis is a much improved product over the older Series 600 and a recommended purchase, especially as the "original" seat costs twice as much, if not more.

Fits great and works really well
This seat fit better than our old one, which I assumed was also by RAK as the bowl and cistern are. The screws needed tightening for quite a while, and more so - and once they seemed to stop rotating, I could usually get it moving a bit more - was worried that I'd over tighten and cause something to break eventually.Soft close works on both seat and lid. It's comfortable to sit on, especially compared to out last seat.The only reason I've removed a star is because the rear 2 feet under the seat don't make contact with the bowl. This was mentioned by only a couple of other reviewers, so it may not occur to most people to check for such a thing, but either the fixings are too tall for this seat, or the feet are too short. If all feet could be about 5mm thicker then this issue would be resolved. I'm just concerned most of our weight is being distributed onto the front feet and they'll damaged over time (which happened to my old seat).
