The Original Sudoku Book 2

When I first received this author's first book, I couldn't figure him out. But then I read his opinion on Newspaper Sudoku in Japan vs. the Computer ones in the US. His have it all over the American ones like a 3 ring circus tent. In the first place, he CRAFTS his. They are hand-drawn and planned. Each puzzle has exactly 24 numbers, no more, no less. BUT it is WHERE he puts them that makes the difference. The Easy ones in the beginning of the book practically solve themselves. The Medium ones go on, to take a little more time, and encourage a little mild checking, to see if you are really doing OK as you go. BUT the HARD ones - OH BOY, the hard ones! They can take a week of your spare time - but you will feel so smug when you get each number placed properly. They are truly fabulous. there is NOTHING in an American puzzle that satisfies you like these Japanese ones. And the best part is, after you finish a book, you can go out and buy a whole new copy of the same book - because there are about 300 puzzles in each one - and you will NEVER remember each one. So it will be like buying a whole new set of puzzles! I highly recommend buying these books as soon as you can. They are very addictive.

I have been playing Sudoku for several years now.I even have taken classes from The Sudoku Professor - check Chad Barker out online!Chad recommends this vendor for the best Sudoku books - they are hand made, not computer generated.There are easy, medium, hard and very hard puzzles, giving every level of user a challenge.I would highly recommend this book and the other ones available - practice, practice, practice!

The working of super minds.

I love this series of Sudoku puzzle books. The games are challenging but not impossible to eventually solve. The paper these books are printed on is perfect for someone who uses pencil and has to erase a fair amount. Other books are made out of low quality paper and can get quickly smudged or erased through to the other side. I buy this book for friends and family who like Sudoku or want to start playing it.

Years ago I purchased all three books in this series. I'm now I'll enjoy them again.

I already had a copy of this book, and this was bought as a present for my son. In my opinion, this Sudoku series is the best of the lot. It has puzzles ranging from easy to very difficult. As the difficulty increase, these puzzles are tough but fair. They do not lead one down false trails, as is the case with many of their competition.
