BerghausMen's Paclite 2.0 Gore-tex Waterproof Shell Jacket | Lightweight | Durable | Stylish Coat Shell Jacket (pack of 1)

Have had a few paclites, they are brilliant, light weight and fully waterproof, always carry a rolled up one in the back pack when out walking, an essential item for us.

This jacket is fully effective in heavy rain despite being very lightweight. It packs small so is great for a day bag. I like knowing that I’m protected in heavy showers without having to carry much extra weight. I do not use it when I’m carrying a heavy backpack and it’s going to rain all day - then I use a much tougher and heavier three layer gortex jacket. Despite trying many other branded waterproof fabrics, none yet have been as breathable, just cheaper.

This is great for a waterproof on a budget.Its comfy enough, nice bright colour, and it's definitely very waterproof. Will keep you dry. It's a shell, so zero warmth or insulation, but plenty of room underneath to layer up.It's definitely at the old skool cagoule end of the spectrum; not particularly stylish, not particularly breathable, and feels a little like wearing a plastic bag. So not a great choice if you want to look and feel stylish. But a great option for a cheap coat to keep you dry.

It wraps up well and is easily included in a rucksack. It is very light and good quality

Bought this for cycling. Plenty of movement and wind proof.Really pleased

This coat is faulty. It is not water proof. After only 5 minutes of rain, water penetrates through the whole coat and saturates your clothes underneath. For a coat that cost £130 and advertised as gortex - this simply isn't good enough.

Great waterproof jacket that's comfortable, light and breathable.

(The same text appears in my assessment of Berghaus Paclite pants)When it first arrived I was a bit unhappy about its lack of pockets and vents but after having lived with it for a while, I came to appreciate simplicity of its design and construction.One of the toughest tests was riding my Honda 125cc scooter in driving rain, where every tiny opening or zipper gives water opportunity to invade and soak and these pants and jacket handled it with aplomb despite minimalist construction, I rode out the inclement weather all nice and dry.

Unschlagbar in Wasserdicht/Packmaß und Atmungsaktiv.Genau wie die Hose von der Firma. Auf Radtour Deutschland -Atlantik in 5 Wochen mit 3,5 Wochen Regentagen getestet. 6 Stunden Regenfahrt von außen absolut dicht, von innen keine Kondenswasser. Jacke wie Hose von Berghaus absolut unschlagbar. Seit über 30 Jahren Radreisen und Wandertouren alle möglichen Marken duchprobiert. Nichts war vergleichbar.

Veste bien légère et très jolie que j'utilise dans mes déplacements vélo et sorties prolongées. La veste est très imperméable. Le gore-tex, c'est fiable ! En plus le prix est très correct.
