Close to proper chip shop sauce
Closest thing we’ve found to “proper” British chip shop curry sauce. Multiple attempts to make my own recipes never quite get close enough. Adding a bit extra curry powder and a touch of garam masala makes it pretty much spot on. I ignore the instructions, put a little water in a pan, eyeball the powder and stir, adjust the consistency as needed. On the slightly thicker side is pretty authentic. Price is much more expensive than it would be to buy directly from the shop in the uk but that is what it is - can’t really knock a star off for that given it’s shipped over etc. will have to stock up when in Europe.
