After extensive research on a magnetic dual axis angle gauge finder. Wixey came up on top for quality vs price. And the best price as usual being on Amazon! Worked perfectly with an audio readout from the Wixey App for Android and IOS. Brilliant for getting the correct angle sharpening chefs knives whilst sharpening them in real time. A great product for a professional chef or tradesmen for getting the correct angle. Well worth the price - 5 Stars Amazon! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This works well for conduit bending. You don't have to look at the display! Working with a mechanical bender, place the level on the end of the pipe, then zero it from your phone (you don't have to worry if the bender is level or not), put the phone down and listen. Easy to compensate for spring back since when you relax the pressure on the pipe it will tell you the reading, if you need more you can tweak it.

Short Story: Does NOT work with Android. Works on wife’s Iphone. Does display correct angle on display. Not Short Story: Opened the package, no instructions or links to view instructions, here we go. Found the app "Wixey Talk" on Google Play Store, downloaded and it’s just a sound simulation, it does not even attempt to connect to the device. However, it does repeat randomly generated numbers using an automated voice over and over and over. Open my bluetooth connections on my phone, scan... found it "Wixey". I go to connect... "An app is needed to use this device". The app is open, I am listening to this automated voice from the app while I am doing this. In the image you can see I have the app open in the background. No dropdowns or Bluetooth connect instructions on the app. On the positive side, it seems to display the correct angle on the device, works on my wife’s iphone, but does not function with android.

I am an electrician, and I liked using this for pipe bending. It has an easy to read backlit display and it is very accurate. I gave it 3 stars because I dropped the extra 20 bucks on the Bluetooth enabled talking one. I read the directions and downloaded the app to work with this. The app WixeyTalks is a joke!!! It is a fake simulation app that does nothing. I advise the company to make this bluetooth gadget work or discontinue the thing. I will be ordering the regular version of this after the return id complete.

Works as advertised, Bluetooth end worked without any issues.

Can't say how disappointed I am in this product. Everything was going fine, then I tried to lay it on its back and read an angle in the X-Z plane. NOPE, just started saying ERROR! Only good for vertical measurements. Forget trying to use it to set your miter gage, or your fence! BAH, useless! Find a better one. I can see why people are confused about the app. It looks like annoying vapor-wear crap, but if it discovers the unit, it starts working. So, no. This thing will go into the bottom of my toolbox. I will have to see if my cell-phone accelerometer can do a better job.

This thing is kinda fun to use, the app works great. To be extremely critical, the magnetic base could be stronger but it gets the job done. I really like that the app will also verbally relay the measurements, it’s come in handy more than once.

After owning three of the digital angle gauges I’ve decided to try the wixey brand and it is superior to the others that I own as far as accuracy and ease of use. It arrived on time and worked as advertised. I will look into other products from this brand.
