Primal Spirit, Vegan Meatless Jerky Strips - High Energy, High Protein, Non-GMO, 93% Fat-Free Snacks, Vegan Jerky - 28g, Pack of 24 Texas BBQ Flavour

love these, they are expensive but they are nice flavours.

Super flavour, decent price for the 24 pack and good amount of protein without too many cals/carbs.

Having turned to Vegetarianism back in 1985 when I was just 14 years old, I had gotten used to the lack of interesting snack products that catered to me. I discovered Primal Spirit about 2 years ago quite by chance and ordered a few bars of their Meatless BBQ Jerky Strips. After one, I was hooked. They are so delicious. Best served slightly chilled I find. They are handy for me when I am at work on the go and I have an item I can run to and not have to prep. Long story short, Primal have some of the best tasting Vegetarian snack products on the market - highly recommended!

Imagine eating a long dead corpse's flesh only a very delicious corpse with extra BBQ sauce and that is pretty much what this tastes like, very good product and good value for money, the only thing is I bought the retail pack of 24 and need a new flavour before I can finish this one as the flavour is so rich I am getting a bit sickened by it, would buy again as long as one of the other flavours is not better.

Good taste and very chewy.

Love this product. Full of flavour and great texture. Can eat on own but I've just discovered putting this on toasties. Will be buying a lot more

The taste of this jerky is really bad. Almost tastes off. I would like to contact the seller and return but the product is non refundable. Honestly don’t go near this flavour!

nicec texture, okay taste, the problem is you have to buy a ridiculous quantity.

I ate beef jerky every single day at my school cafeteria when I was growing up. I loved the stuff. And then I became a vegetarian and, alas, I thought my beef jerky days were done for. Until I discovered this. It is very convincing - the texture isn't gross or suspect like many fake meat products. It isn't too tough, is a bit moist, and has a nice flavor. It is much softer than Tofuky Jerky beef jerky replacement, so the texture is easier to deal with, but this flavor is more sweet than the spicy Tofuky Jerky version. I'm excited to taste other flavors to see if there is something a bit on the spicy barbecue side rather than sweet barbecue side, but in general, I really like this and it might convince even the most skeptical meat eater. My dad even liked it, which is saying a lot - he is an old school eater who was very skeptical of anything vegetarian.

Great taste, just moist enough, and texture very similar to meat-based jerky. You wouldn't know the difference!

Excellent for anyone switching from a carnivorous diet to a vegetarian one, as well as anyone just looking for a delicious, low calorie, high protein, wholesome snack. The texture is wonderful. I was afraid that it would have a gross texture, but I was very surprised at its similarity to meat. And the best part is that it’s not meat! Primal Jerky offers a great flavor and texture without having to resort to meaty counterparts. The serving size of 1 oz was perfect for an on-the-go snack to be consumed in one sitting. I will be making this a staple in my diet, now.

These are great snacks and really delicious. Arrived a day earlier than anticipated.

Having been a vegetarian for a few years now, I've learned it can be hit or miss with meat alternatives. This meatless jerky is perfect! I've had a couple different flavors, but the Texas BBQ is by far my favorite. It's deliciously sweet and smoky. The one thing I didn't like about meat jerky is how tough and dry it is. This stuff is nice and tender, but it still has that get-stuck-in-your-teeth effect like the real thing. As a vegetarian, I honestly can't imagine a meatless jerky getting any closer to real beef jerky than this! Regarding some people's reviews about hating the texture and flavor because they've never tried it before, try it before you purchase a whole box of 24 of them. That's just common sense, especially with vegetarian meat substitutes.
