Great Coffee
I love community coffee and wanted the pods to take with when I travel. Same great taste as the ground coffee I use every day at home.

GOOD AND STRONG!
There are many advantages to blending coffee with chicory. One of them is that chicory is a nutritive plant-derived substance with a pleasant lightly bitter-sweet flavor and many reputed health benefits. Another is that you can get 18 to 20 ounces of good strong brew out of one K-pod. If you brew this stuff with your usual 8 to 12 ounces of water, you're going to find it so strong that you can probably stand a spoon up in it. Therefore, chicory coffee is a great price bargain as well as a richly tasteful and wholesome hot beverage with historic origins in old New Orleans.

Better than Cafe du Monde, less heartburn than lighter coffees.
Growing up in New Orleans and being a coffee drinker from a young age I love both Community Coffee and Cafe du Monde. Obviously a fresh cup in the French Quarter is awesome but that's not always a reality - especially since I moved away. I've tried the Cafe du Monde kcups but honestly I prefer the Community ones more. I wouldn't scoff at getting the former ones as a gift or if I'm feeling particularly nostalgic, but if I'm spending my everyday money, I'm getting Community! The taste is pretty smooth and bold. And because it's darker it doesn't upset my acid reflux (I tend to get heartburn after drinking lighter coffees because lighter coffees are more acidic). It is especially smooth if used in the brew over ice option on some machines (I use the Ninja 3 in 1).

It makes more coffee than the other ones, and tastes good too
[EDIT] I was going to buy this again, but it's more than $10 more expensive than the last time I bought it. It's good, but not that good. While other same-sized pods can barely scratch out 8oz of watered-down coffee, somehow this one manages to give me a full 12oz of non-watered-down coffee. You can see it as it drips into the cup that it's still dark. For those who've not had it before, do note that when you put in a similar amount of creamer that you'd use in other coffees, the color will look more like hot chocolate than light-tan. Why have I never seen or heard of this coffee before in my 40yrs on this planet? It seems like quite the oversight. No more need for that ultra-bitter black sludge coffee just to get a useful amount every day.

Nice Taste, Not Strong Enough
This coffee delivers the smooth coffee and chicory blend of the regular ground Community Coffee & Chicory that I have used most of my life. The Keurig cups are just way too weak. Even at the 4-ounce setting, the robust coffee and chicory flavor is just not there. I will have to use my French Press or regular pot for my coffee and chicory. For those who don't like it strong, this is a good choice, especially for those who are just getting introduced to chicory.

Love this community coffee with chicory!
My mother drank a lot of coffee and she drank it black. Her choice was called Luzianne coffee with chicory that was sold and delivered from a truck that can through the neighborhood on some kind of schedule. The next time I tasted coffee with chicory was at a new cafe on the beach in Panama City, Florida opened by a friends daughter and her husband who had been a top chef in a few places including New Orleans, LA. The coffee was so good that I asked him if he would share what it was. He told me it was Community Coffee with. Chicory and the creamer was also by Community out of New Orleans. I have been drinking it ever since!
