Extreme Adventures with God: Isaac, Esau, and Jacob (Discover 4 Yourself Inductive Bible Studies for Kids)

Currently doing this one with two elementary school students and they are really enjoying it!

This is a great study for kids ages 8-12. However, they are designed to be 30 minutes a day and there is NO way a student can do most of these lessons in less than 60 minutes. I am not sure why the publishers made this a 4-week study rather than 8 ir 9. This is the 4th book in the series that we have done just this year and the amount of work in this one is double if not triple previous books. I actually took the lessons and cut them in half and we made it a 6 week study after struggling through the first two weeks just due to the time constraints. Just to clarify, I was doing this with a 9 and 11 year old and I, was doing the work as well in my own book and it took me an hour a day min. I am actually behind my kids as I didn't have enough time in my day for the extra.Aside from that, it has been a fabulous study!

LOVE these Bible study series. We have purchased several of them for my child's independent study time. The authors do a good job of making the study fun and teaching the kids to dig into God's word. Sometimes the words used are a bit mature beyond the average student's knowledge but this can be a great time to ask a parent or teacher for help. I'm VERY happy with these studies and have enjoyed watching my child learn to study God's word. I highly recommend them!

My 10 year old said this was a very fun devotion because there were a lot more activities in this book than some of the other Kay Arthurs. We have done many of these for daily devotions and this was her favorite!

EXCELLENT TOOL to use for teaching God's Word to a group of children.

Easy to fo through

I thoroughly enjoyed reviewing this book before I used it for Homeschooling Bible study for my grandchildren, well worth the money and time spent.
