Nice lamp upgrade, for much less than replacing the lamp.
This lamp had a flaky, mostly-broken touch switch on it. I couldn't use it with a smart outlet because its default setting was OFF when plugging it in, so turning on the outlet didn't turn on the light. It was also hard to turn on manually. When I finally found the right spot on the chassis to touch, it didn't remember my last brightness setting and came on full blast. Lame. Enter: this dimmer! I yanked the touch switch and controller PCB out completely, connected the 4 wires (+/- IN from the power cable, +/- OUT to the light rings) to the terminals on this dimmer, and stuck it to the lamp with a double sided adhesive pad. Bada-bing bada-boom! Now the light comes on to wherever I last physically set the knob as soon as I turn on the smart outlet. The knob is a great size to be easy to use without fumbling around whenever I do want to adjust it, and now I have continuous dimming from zero to 100%, instead of 3 janky settings. $12 to upgrade/revive an otherwise nice lamp. I'm no electrician, but it was a super easy mod. The terminals are stable and just big enough to be easy to work with, the knob feels solid and turns smooth, light doesn't flicker, and the box is nice and light for easy mounting. Easy-peasy.

Good, inexpensive, high-frequency pulse-width modulator.
This is an inexpensive variable-pulse-width modulator (PWM) that can be used to "dim" LED lights or for things like external IR lights for security or game cameras to lower the intensity of the IR light. It operates at a frequency over 600 Hz (by my testing) which is more than enough to avoid detectable flicker.

Look no further!
As advertised. Got a bad ne but was immediately replaced & works beautifully. Don't let the low price deceive; great product...

Works well after noise problem went away
I bought this for my under cabinet 24v LED lights. This works as far as dimming the LEDs. But when you dim the lights this dimmer has a very noticeable high pitched whine to it. However, after2-3 days of use that noise went away. I guess there is some โburn inโ or something going on. When I have the dimmer set to about 50% level and I am close to it. I can hear a muffled whine from it. But I have to be listening for it to notice it. So I do recommend this and if I needed another dimmer like this I would choose this one.

Works well
This works very well and thereโs no flickering with a Armacost led strip, when you get down to the lowest dimmed setting, you can modulate the dial ever so slightly and actually get it to dim down to zero. In the last millimeter of travel before the lights shut off, you can dim infinitely down to zero. Around mid dimming, there is a little bit of a buzzing, which is very faint and youโd have to be 2 feet within the dimmer to hear from the dimmer itself. Otherwise, thereโs no sound from the dimmer or the light strip. The light strip Iโm using is a 4000 K, 30 LEDs per meter, 12 V LED light strip they have 3528 SMD.

BEWARE not a PWM Controller!
This is NOT a PWM (pulse width modulation) controller as the item's description claims. In a PWM controller, the voltage rapidly shifts from 0 to full (ex. 24V) in pulses (hence the name). This controller is a simple potentiometer, and simply reduces the output voltage based on where you turn the knob. It puts out a constant voltage (instead of pulses) but dims by lowering the voltage. Not what was advertised, and not what I needed!

Works good
Good quality dimmer switch

Works good enough
It's very sensitive. My LED's meet the specs but like others said, voltage drops off towards the low end just past the dial's halfway point. Some dimming is better than no dimming, so three stars.

Good dimmer for cob led strip.
Good dimmer used it to dim cob led strip , just put it between the driver / transformer and the lights , worked very well , they also have this with a remote control if required.
