Bush Workman DAB Radio

Not pleased with this product, the aerial broke very easily and I could not buy a replacement. Very poor design not really suitable for outdoor work.

It just isn't nice to use at all. The volume and tuning knobs are just unbelievably uncomfortable on the fingers and slow top operate, a major design flaw. The buttons are clumsy and its too long-winded to select a preset. It feels really cheap.... However, the sound is adequate, the features are all there and it doesn't cost that much (at least from Argos). It's no where near good enough for me but might suit some. I can't recommend it.

Product broke after 9 month & Bush are not helpful at all, waste of money

I don't usually write reviews but this radio is so good I felt I had to. I wanted a radio for my workshop and didn't want to spoil my expensive Pure evoke mio by getting it covered in sawdust...it gets everywhere. The other jobsite radios all require special additional batteries and chargers in order to use them away from a power source. This adds at least another £50 to the cost making the cheapest more than £150. I decided to give the Bush Workman a go as it uses C type batteries and was much cheaper than the competition. I am glad I did. The Bush is water resistant and well armored with rubber protection, but the best bit is the sound. It isn't HiFi quality but it is as good as my Pure Evoke which retails at £140 and the Bush is much louder. It also has Bluetooth which isn't found on my Pure radio and also has all the great features such as two alarms, a sleep timer, scrolling text, auto time update and power saving options as well as adding a USB charger to charge external devices. This radio may be a little less rugged than most site radios but I don't intend to knock it around and the price and sound quality matches other site radios easily. The main thing is that it copes very well with the dust generated in my workshop.
