Good snug fit

This is the first swim cap I have worn in about fifteen years. I used to swim competitively. I got this to make the cold sea have a little less impact on my shaven head for when I open water swim, as I have just started to do this. It does a really good job at that during the summer months. And it will probably see me through into the autumn too. The had a couple of issues with it. The first was probably due to my head shape. I have quite an oval face. I wear goggles and found that the swim cap interrupted the seal unless I adjusted it perfectly. It is quite fiddly. I don't remember having this problem all those years ago when I used to wear a swim cap five times a week. A side note, and probably irrelevant as it goes against the conventional use, but when I swam out to some rocks and decided to jump in it came off. The swim cap is orange. Not as high vis as I expected. It is bright but not like florescent jacket level.

The hat itself seems good quality and reasonably thick. It provides a bit of insulation in cold water and is highly visible. I have used it several times and it has not ripped putting it on. However, it is so tight on my head that it feels like it's squeezing my brain. There's no way I can wear it over my ears as it doesn't stretch down to completely cover them and is too uncomfortable to have half way down my ears. If my head was smaller I dare say it would be great! (My head circumference is approx 60cm.)

This is my first ever swim hat. I'm 54 and after taking the plunge into wild open water swimming I thought I'd get a swim hat for extra visibility and to keep a bit of heat in. I didn't want to spend a lot of money and this swim hat was perfect! It is good quality silicone, very bright in colour (I purchased the yellow one) and very easy to put on. I found it makes a perfect seal once on keeping water out of the ears (and hair of course). I definitely noticed a difference in terms of warmth. It also helps keeping swim goggles on. Great product for the price.

The orange swim cap I purchased exceeded my expectations with its vibrant color and quality material. It effectively keeps my hair dry while swimming. However, I found the fit to be a bit tight, which may not suit everyone. Overall, a solid swim cap with excellent functionality and eye-catching color.

This is silicone based and fits smooth and snug around the head, stretches nicely to cover the ears all the way down and doesn't create any pressure points. It also does a good job of keeping your head from losing heat too quickly in the cold water, so you can swim longer. Excellent product, far better than the neoprene ones available elsewhere.
