Is the bottle packaged well so it won't leak?

Mine came packaged very well, no damage.

Is there a seal in the bottle?

no there is no seal, this product has a brush attached to the cap, so it is a tight screw on top. none of my other iodine products had a seal either. I hope this is helpful.
