Remarkably effective at removing screw watchcase backs. Compared with the wrench type devices this one leaves no scratches and is very simple to use. Inexpensive solution for those of us who prefer to change our own quartz watch batteries or even regulate our mechanical watches. An essential buy.

doesnt even work
Tried with all my strength and im pretty strong but it doesnt open the watch. Returned to Amazon and taking watch to a jeweler instead.

Arrived inflated
Brill, works as described. After reading similar listings of having to inflate yourself. I was pleasantly surprised that this arrived good to go out of the box.

Der Bergeon 8008 B-Ball ist eines dieser Werkzeuge, bei denen man sich fragt, warum man es nicht schon viel früher gekauft hat. So simpel das Prinzip wirkt, so effektiv ist es in der Praxis. Für verschraubte Uhrenböden ist dieser Gummiball eine extrem schonende und gleichzeitig kraftvolle Lösung. Gerade bei hochwertigen Uhren möchte man keine Kratzer riskieren. Mit dem B-Ball lässt sich der Boden kontrolliert lösen oder wieder schließen, ohne Metall auf Metall. Der Grip ist erstaunlich stark, selbst bei fest sitzenden Böden. Gleichzeitig hat man ein sehr gutes Gefühl für das Drehmoment und arbeitet deutlich sicherer als mit manch mechanischem Öffner. Die Qualität ist typisch Bergeon: sauber verarbeitet, langlebig und absolut professionell. Der Durchmesser von 67 mm ist ideal für die meisten gängigen Gehäusegrößen. Kein Verrutschen, kein Abrutschen, kein Risiko für Beschädigungen. Für mich mittlerweile ein Standardwerkzeug auf dem Tisch. Wer regelmäßig Uhren öffnet, kommt an diesem Tool kaum vorbei. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
