Magnified LED Seam Ripper, Purple

This Dritz Magnified LED Seam Ripper is a total game changer! The built-in magnifier and LED light make it so much easier to see stitches clearly, especially when working with darker fabrics or in low lighting. It takes so much strain off your eyes and makes seam ripping way more precise. The grip is comfortable and easy to hold, and the seam ripper itself is sharp and effective without snagging the fabric. I also love the bright purple color—it’s easy to spot in my sewing kit. If you do any kind of sewing, quilting, or needlework, this is absolutely worth it. It’s one of those tools you don’t realize you need until you have it, and then you won’t want to go without it!

Handy little tool. I love it

This is a nice seam ripper. I like the light and the magnifying glass. The only disappointment is that the seam ripper is not very sharp. Not having too much luck picking some stitches

This is great. You have the light and a magnifying glass to rip stitches out. It’s really helpful in light that’s not so bright.

Once I realized I could move where the magnifying glass attaches to the body of the thread ripper handle, I was able to get a better view of what I was doing. I’d like the light to be brighter (but it was helpful and the switch is easy to toggle between off and on). The seem ripper pointed part is a good size. I was using it to pull the seem out of a knit sportswear fabric, so that took a while. This tool helped me see what I was doing, although did feel occasionally cross-eyed since it is such a small magnifying glass that I was focusing on for a long period.

A little large and bulky, but blade is sharp and does the job.

In theory this is a FABULOUS product. The light and magnifying glass are perfect. Easy to adjust to whatever angle you need. The BIG problem is that the actual ripper part is way to big. Fine for large stitches and heavy thread. But if you are working with small stitches and fine thread this is not the product for you. If they come out with one with a finer ripping hook I will be buying them for all my quilting friends! Keeping this for working on blue jeans.

This is perfect because it has a light and magnified glass! I am just starting to sew more so I have made some errors and this makes it easier to see the stitch.

This is a great stitch ripper. It is very sharp. The light is handy. Magnification does not work too well but it just clips on and can be easily removed.

The tip broke down on the third time I used it. I was very excited about the light on the Magnifier but was very disappointed when it was broken
