Rayovac C Batteries, Ultra Pro C Cell Batteries Alkaline, 6 Count

I keep these on hand all the time. I've replaced all my candles (tons and tons of candles) with flameless candles with timers (some with dual timers) that require 2 "C" batts each for 1,000-1,500 hours 'burn' time, depending on the style of 'candle'. I also have solar lanterns that hang from shepherd's hooks looped through my chain link fence Spring through Fall months that use "C"s. Having said that, with this product, my burn time and brightness of the candles and lanterns last much longer than estimated by the manufacturers of those products (Candle Impressions), whether the candles are 'on' all the time or using them with the timers. The same holds true for the extended brightness of the stained glass (plastic) lanterns outside as compared to other C batteries I've tried in the past. They are wonderful for all those times I lose power here (and that's a lot) from wind, storms, rain, freezing rain and drizzle, snow, transformers blowing out, or sneezing. :) I've also given the flameless candles as gifts to those who like the idea of eliminating the safety hazards of real candles that must be carefully placed and watched in their homes and always include these batteries with the gift. Can't go wrong. I monitor this product regularly and pick it up when on sale so I never run out. Reliable, long lasting, dependable, good value. Can't go wrong.

GREAT BATTERIES THAT LAST LONG AT A GREAT PRICE

Rayovac isn't the top of the line battery company out there, but then again - they don't have to be. They make decent batteries that do the job and do it well enough for the price. Yes, they advertise that they last as long as Duracell, but honestly - I don't care about how well they compare to other batteries. I only care that when I buy them, they are new, they last for a while, and they don't die when I need them the most. The UltraPro line of batteries are fairly cost-effective, last a decent amount of time, and don't seem to spring leaks like so many cheaper battery lines do. Overall, I'm happy with the Rayovac brand. No, I'd never confuse them with other top of the line batteries, which I would recommend buying before these for critical/expensive equipment - but if you're just trying to power your flashlight or a child's toy, these batteries fit the bill and won't break the bank (or the toy).

I did a LOT of research on C batteries because I needed to invest in a quality, long-lasting battery that would work for my cordless candles that I keep in my windows all year long. I have 8 candles throughout my apartment (windows on both sides that can be seen by the public) that require TWO C batteries a piece... There was no way I was going to pay the insane prices the local drug store would charge for a pack of these heavy duty power sources, so on to Amazon I went, in search of top-quality, highly-rated batteries. These did the trick! It took about three months before I needed to replace the batteries. My candles turn on at dusk (auto-set) and turn off automatically at dawn, to conserve battery power. That said, these batteries lasted a full three months of DAILY use every evening before I needed to replace them. For the price through Amazon (and free shipping with Prime) you can't beat it! Worth every penny!

I used 2 of these to power a Christmas wreath. The wreath was set to go on automatically for 6 hours each day and it uses LED bulbs. I can't believe I am admitting this, but I have had the wreath up since early Dec 2013. I did take down all of my other Christmas decorations, but became intrigued when the wreath continued to be lit and I wanted to see how long it would last. The lights became dimmer around May, but were still visibly working for many more months. and it was still working on the same batteries until just before Halloween 2014. Now it is almost time to put the Christmas decorations again and I will surely use these batteries again this year!

Consumer reports rates Rayovac, Duracell, Energizer Alkaline batteries and a few others as virtually the same in lasting power and performance -it all comes down to advertising and exposure. As my spouse has a new found addiction to flameless candles, most of which run on two C batteries apiece - I stocked up on both more candles and the Rayovac 12 packs. There's a nice price break with these and if you add on the free 2 day shipping for Prime members - it's a sure value. Especially because it saves me from having to schlep out to buy batteries! I find Rayovac and Duracell last equally long so along with the above comparison person preference comes into play. Some folks like Bounty paper towels others like Brawny - same with batteries. As for these they're a great value! At some point I'll look into re-chargeable ones. But for now we're stocked up into the next century. Excellent Deal

Articulo exactamente igual a la foto, el rendimiento de las baterias hasta el momento es similar a otras marcas de mayor renombre, pero hay un gran ahorro en precio. Por el importe con el cual compre 12 piezas solo hubiera podido comprar 6 de la marca lider y repito el rendimiento hasta el momento es muy similar.
