Miabella 18K Gold Plated 925 Sterling Silver Cuban Link Chain Men Women

Honestly I was skeptical about this purchase as there are a lot of negative reviews. So I wanted to give it a decent amount of time before I left a review. I haven’t had and worn this chain everyday for roughly a month and a half and I must say for the price, I am quite pleased. Sure, this isn’t solid gold or some insane quality gold plating, but for someone like me; who wasn’t sure if I would even like yellow gold jewelry as I’ve always only worn silver, I thought I’d give this a shot. You can see in the video where the plating is already starting to wear on some of the angles of the links, but it is only noticeable if you are looking very closely at it in the right lighting, it still looks great from a distance. I haven’t had a single issue with the clasp durability, it has functioned great since the day I got it. My biggest concern was how thin it is, but I have worn it daily since receiving it and can assure that the thinness of it is fine if you aren’t doing anything crazy with it. I wear it at work, in the gym and just doing your typical everyday things and have not had any concern with it breaking. I actually don’t even mind how thin it is because you practically forget that you’re wearing it. So if you’re like me and are unsure about about whether or not you like yellow gold jewelry and don’t want to spend a ton of money to figure that out, then this is a perfect option!

Beautiful gold plated chain, very shiny reflective out of the box, clasp functionality is good, has a nice light weight, doesn't irritate my skin (but I'm not allergic to any metals to my knowledge,) the design looks good, I ordered the 20" chain and that's what I got (I may order 22" next time and a beefier size,) I hope it keeps the shine for a long time, time will tell. I have zero complaints so far. I will definitely order more in the near future.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for myself this year. I’ve worn it for only two days, but so far, I am impressed! I am a 32 YO female, and I noted that it is very versatile in presentation. I am a little bit hesitant however to wear it sometimes due its luster. Hope it doesn’t break! In the future, I will probably purchase a sterling silver Cuban too.

I waited to give a review until ive worn this for a few months. Let me preface this by saying i work outdoors in facility work. I get very dirty and i work very hard outdoors which means a lot of sweat dirt and grime get on me throughout the day. I wear this chain everyday to work and sometimes to sleep (it gets uncomfortable to wear in bed). Its been a few months and has not tarnished at all, and after a quick cleaning in mild dish soap and warm to hot water it looks brand new. I cant say i dont take care of this chain but its durability is definitely tested to the max when i wear it and it has held up wonderfully. Its gotten dirty and looks dull at times but like i said above once i clean it, it becomes brand new again. Ive seen other reviews talking about how it tarnishes very quickly. I personally havent had that experience after about 4 months now. Now take into account some people have very poor hygiene and ph levels on their skin. If your even semi healthy and take care of your chain somewhat youll be completely fine and you can wear as much as you want with confidence. I even have worn cologne with this chain MULTIPLE times and again hasnt tarnished one bit not even in between the links where they rub together. I dont know if i got lucky with the specific chain i received or what but im certain they have made changes to their quality control. Durability alone makes this chain worth the price. Not to mention the beautiful diamond cuts thats extremely rare in plated jewelry. Hope others get the same experience i got.

My man has had this for three years and it never turned color and was actually pretty durable. He’d workout, occasional surf, and shower in it and it never tarnished. Great quality. It finally broke, but only because he accidentally grabbed it and pulled super hard so it gave out, but if he wouldn’t have done that it’d still probably be going strong.

I really like the style and low cost of Miabella gold plated chains however I don’t think they are 18k plated. I did an 18k acid test on two areas and both areas tarnished into a copper color. If it was true 18k there should be no reaction. I also tried a 10k acid test and that one did not have a reaction so my assumption is these mite be 10k not the 18k as advertised. To be fair I do have a gold plated rope chain from Miabella and I’ve showered, got in the pool, and sweated with it for over two weeks now with no tarnishing yet. It just so happens to fail the 18k acid test. I hope they test their product and their supplier for the correct Karat classification or change the description to show 10k instead of “18k guaranteed”

I originally bought this chain just to wear for a birthday party, thinking it would be a one-weekend thing. Somehow it ended up lasting me almost 2 years and it still looks great. For the price, I honestly didn’t expect it to hold up this well. My girlfriend still doesn’t believe I only paid around $50 for it lol Definitely worth it.

This is a very attractive piece of jewelry. The style of link is classic, elegant and understated. Light and perfect weight for a woman. If buying one for a man, I’d go the the heavier version which is available. Purchased this for my wife. She loved it immediately and has been wearing it ever since. Good value. Can’t go wrong with this.
