Light Practice but the Problems are too easy.
As with Learning Express Geometry Success, this book offers plenty of problems. The rub is that the problems are very easy. This my be a great starting point BEFORE a high school or college course, but too easy to be much help DURING the high school or college course.

Excellent, but not perfect
Excellent book to self teach trigonometry. It's well organized, the material is presented well and in the proper order. The questions and answers were superb. I read the complete book and did all the exercises. There are lots of paper space, so often I did the problems right in the book with a pencil. I've never had that before in a math book, but I liked it, It really helped make the problems easier to do. Negatives: I found 7 typos in the book, not too bad. The online practice exercises are only a comprehensive 60 question test. Thus, the online exercises are not a $29.95 value as advertised. I would have liked chapter specific additional questions. However, the questions in the book itself were sufficient. To self teach, I highly recommend this book. You probably can't find better. I give it a top score, excellent, but not perfect. If you are looking for that one book that can teach you trigonometry, start to finish, this is that book.

Great book
You can review for standardized tests with this book, but you are better off adding a tutor or class. I remember taking this stuff in high school. Now that I am older, it is hard to learn all over again. With just half hour a day, you can teach yourself this stuff. Ingenuous!

A must have trig. book!
I had no prior knowledge of Trigonometry. I'm in my early 70's with a very limited background in advanced math. Mr. Thomas walked me through this subject with the greatest of ease. I was completing the practice problems with little trouble, even word problems, who would have thought! I now think in terms of Sine, Cosine, tangent, secant, cosecant, cotangent and inverse functions. I love this subject, and I put in much more than 20 minutes a day. If you put in the time, you too will become fascinated with this subject. It's fun!

I bought this book to review my knowledge of Trigonometry. I think the book is great for someone who wants a review or maybe trying to learn the subject. It covers the basics of trigonometry but not the more advance problems of this subject. The "Humongous Book of Trigonometry problems" gives basic and the more advanced problems that you may encounter on the subject.

Too elementary for a college trigonometry course
Too basic and too elementary for someone taking a college trigonometry course.

GREAT RESOURCE
I purchased this book to help me prepare for my AEPA state teaching test, high school level. I've already failed the test once and my weaknesses were Calc and Trig.I've finished Lesson one and it looks like it is going to be just what I needed to brush up on skills and review important concepts in a quick, concise fashion. I'm glad I bought it!

Excellent exercises to provide mastery in every chapter
The exercises seem to begin relatively easy, then progressively become more challenging. The chapters are divided into segments so the procedures required do not become repetitious and laborious.
