Pro Grade Paint Brushes, Paint Brush Set for Walls, Trim & Stain, 5-Piece

I'm lucky enough to have a decent sized home. The original colors of my home were quite ugly, thus I may have gotten a slightly better deal had the walls, baseboards, doors etc. been painted by a pro guided by an interior designer. That said, I've been pleasantly surprised by these brushes. Here's what I've discovered: 1) I was slightly concerned by the non-finished wood handles thinking they didn't take an extra step to paint/seal the handles and by extension the bristles may not be good. I was wrong. The natural wood handles make it much easier to grip each paint brush. 2) The bristles (I appear to be nylon or polyester) are of awesome quality. They do not shed. They stay put. The bristle tips are fine and allow for great cuts when painting - whether it is a wall to a ceiling, a baseboard, trim - you name it. They clean up nice with soap and water. FYI: I only use water soluble Latex or Acrylic paint of good quality. 3) This assortment of brushes lets me choose whichever brush will work best and fit whichever surface I am painting. They are therefore comfortable to use and fit just about any job - from small detail work to larger surfaces. For instance, I used the largest brush to paint a liquid membrane on my mortar bed shower floor. 4) Wow. What a value! If I bought a single brush at my local hardware/big box store, it would have easily been the price for this entire lot! I was so impressed with the performance of these I bought a second set worried they may not be available in the future. 5) Durability is something I never would have guessed I'd be getting at this price point. With a little TLC (clean after painting and allow to dry without letting the metal hang out in water for long periods of time) and you'll be rewarded with many, many uses for each brush. Again - I am pleasantly surprised at what I purchased here as I would historically only go to my hardware store and buy one or two brushes at a time for at least $9.00 or more each!

What a great price on a selection of brushes. I recently finished painting 18 new windows (interior trim with latex) and a 6-foot slider installed in my home. I knew I needed brushes so added this to my cart, and glad I did! Great quality brushes. I used a 2" flat brush with the interior latex paint and it gave a nice finish. Very few brush strokes showed in the finish, and no lost bristles stuck in the paint. After finishing that project, I painted an exterior door and trim on my home with oil-based exterior paint. I used the 2.5" angled brush and again, I was thrilled with the finish. No bristles fell out of the brush, which is exceptional when using oil-based paint. I will likely order another set of these brushes and add them to my paint tool bin. Excellent quality, and cheap enough to toss a brush (I threw out the brush used with oil-based paint, but washed the brush used with latex, and it washed completely clean.)

This set gives you a useful variety of brush sizes, which is nice when you’re doing a project that involves both larger areas and smaller trim work. Pros: several sizes, comfortable handles and good value compared with buying brushes individually. Cons: they’re good general-purpose brushes, but I wouldn’t expect the same finish or longevity as expensive professional brushes. For DIY projects and around-the-house painting, they’re a good set.

Perfect for Rust Treatment and One-Time Use Projects I originally purchased these for rust treatment and similar automotive projects where I knew the brushes would likely be exposed to chemicals, coatings, and products that would be difficult to clean afterward. For that purpose, they have been excellent. The bristles hold up well during use, apply products evenly, and do not shed excessively like some inexpensive brushes can. They are inexpensive enough that I do not feel guilty using them for messy jobs where saving the brush afterward is not really practical. I have used them for rust converters, primers, touch-up work, and other garage projects where precision matters more than using an expensive professional brush. The variety of sizes and angled brushes is also helpful for getting into corners, seams, and tighter areas. They arrived well packaged, and the overall quality was better than expected for the price. I bought these brushes for a few painting projects around the house, and they worked really well. The set includes the sizes I use most, and they held up nicely without shedding many bristles. They cleaned up easily after use and gave a smooth finish on trim and small areas. Overall, they feel like a good value for the price, and I’d use them again for future projects.

These brushes are excellent, they paint as well as $20 each brushes I have bought from hardware stores! They hold up to cleaning (with water, I have only used them with latex paint so far) perfectly and do not shed bristles or clump after cleaning and drying. Amazing value and a great product.

Seriously good brushes! I used the 2nd to smallest to do outline of walls in a bedroom and it's super smooth, didnt shed at all, the angle makes getting the borders precise so much easier for a cleaner look. Crazy you get all.of these for this price. Might use the big one to paint my fence next!

Bought to paint my shed. These are not meant for large stuff i guess. Bristles are super flexible so thats why i dont recomend for large jobs. Went to walmart and grabbed the walmart brand they have . Worked better. If you want super flexible these are the ones you need.
