Works well on squirrels and fairly well on raccoons
We bought this to keep the raccoons out of the bird feeders, and it works pretty well. Some, most, raccoons still try, but they take a bite or two and turn away. (One literally threw himself/herself off the feeder so that one must have gotten a really hot bite.) There is one raccoon, however, who seems impervious to the sizzle, so it’s not 100% effective, but at least now it’s one raccoon vs the dozen we had before. The squirrels really don’t like it. The birds, however, love it which was my biggest concern. The package came well wrapped with no spillage.

No More Squirrel Raids
Ever since I started using this bird food I haven’t seen a squirrel anywhere near the feeder. We used to have some pretty clever squirrels completely empty the feeder. The only problem you’ll have is keeping the feeder filled—birds love this! We get all kinds of birds and it’s great to watch them. I’m pretty sure I have one of the most popular spots in the area. Highly recommend.

Squirrels a problem? Buy this
I've been using this bird seed for a long time. The birds enjoy it & it keeps the squirrels away.

Squirrels seem to like it
This bird seed is supposed to keep away squirrels. I put it out a few days ago and the only creatures I have seen eating it are the squirrels. They sit right on the feeder and eat these seeds with no problem. I did call to try and address the issue, as - if this was my company, and I was advertising a product this way - and then discovered it was doing the opposite of what I advertised, I would want to make it right. I spoke to Blaine, who was very polite, but basically told me just to write down the mfg number and then buy more, but avoid buying from the same batch in the future. He said that the ends of the batches may cause a difference in effectiveness. I don't know why I would buy from this company again if the product was not only expensive, but I spent a lot of time weighing options. All this just to have the birdseed only attract squirrels, and then have the company tell me that even if it is a quality issue on their end, that I should go buy more, just from a different batch. This is not good customer support. I did not want to leave a review like this, but I did call them directly, first, to give the opportunity to make this right.

No More Squirrels
Even though this bird food is expensive it does the trick! I mix it with regular bird food and the squirrels have been trained now not to try it. It burns the mouth of the squirrels and birds cannot taste hot sauce.

Squirrels ignore it!
I put this down on a ground feeder next to a pile of 'F.M.Brown'S Bird Lover'S Blend No Squirrels…Just Birds! Food' back at the end of my property at the tree line where the critters like to hang out. My neighbor actively feeds the squirrels - the very squirrels that are always messing around running on top of my roof and all around annoying me. I wanted to find something to specifically feed the blue jays here, right after our first blizzard of the season and now sub-zero temps, but that the squirrels wouldn't want to eat as well. The blue jays have no interest at all in that FM. Brown seed, where all of the dark-eyed juncos and a male and female cardinal took an instant liking to, but about 20 minutes after I had put down a bag of this Wild Delight Sizzle N' Heat Bird Food, the blue jays started in on it. The juncos and cardinals do occasionally go over to that pile, as well, but it seems 50/50 on which pile they prefer at any given time. However, I've seen multiple squirrels now wander by both piles they didn't care for either pile of food. Great! Saw a big old rabbit inspect the piles a couple times today, but had no use for them either. A couple of crows also came by today and specifically picked out some peanuts, but oddly wouldn't seem to eat them right away. I saw one had taken a few over to a snow bank and I swear it was picking them up and dropping them several times before eating them. The only thing that came to my mind is that it was trying to wash the capsicum off the peanuts? Heh, I don't know for sure why it was doing that, crows being crows. I just know that I appear to have succeeded in finding something my blue jays appear to enjoy that the pesky squirrels aren't going to hoard.

This stuff really works!
We were tired of seeing the squirrels bully the birds and hog all the birdseed. This solved the problem. Now the squirrels don't even bother the feeders when before they would eat the majority of the food.

Squirrels still eat
Attracts about 25 different bird species in my backyard - the front has a few different birds but I do not have a video feeder there so about 30 if I included the turkeys/crows/other birds. Had a BirdBuddy, but swapped to Birdify. I now run a very expensive outdoor wildlife dining area. Only negative, the squirrels are not deterred. Appreciate the variety it attracts, is pricey considering squirrels are not inhibited - needs more spice.
