Complete Flower Pressing Kit - by Craft Deco – Lots of items

The kit has a lot of parts; this is my first experience with a flower press and I was disappointed that there were no instructions on how to press flowers or use the items in the kit. I ended up looking on line to find directions on how to place flowers and/or leaves in the press and how long they should stay in the press.

I was very pleased with this item. Although it appears quite small it does hold an incredible amount and, is very easy to manipulate, which is important to me. I was also very pleased with the accessories provided. I can happily recommend this kit to anyone-else who may be interested. I have used it already and it worked a treat. The price is perfect too!

Lo volevo acquistare da tanto. Mi è sembrato carino anche se il tipo di legno è leggero. All'interno c'è un kit (cartoncino per fare dei biglietti, cornice per quadretto, colla, e altri cartoncini). Spero di fare dei bei lavoretti.

I remember asking for a flower press for my 11th birthday. I used it lots but during moving around it got misplaced and now enjoying own garden decided to get one again. This kit has some bits & pieces for card making, bookmarks, pictures etc and although press itself is quite small it is prettily decorated and plenty adequate for the job. Good gift for those who like craft type things too.

I purchased this set after my daughter expressed growing interest in collecting things from nature and wanting to display them. We bought scrap book equipment and this flower press kit. It arrived well packaged, no damage or scrapes to the box. Inside we found a flower press which consisted of several layers of absorbent paper layered between cardboard and two wooden surrounds, one with a pretty flower design on top. The bolts and screws for the press came in a separate bag along with an empty keyring, a stick of glue. There was also a very cheaply made picture frame that probably won't ever be used as it seemed like it would fall apart just picking it up, plus a mount board for it. There were 2 greetings cards with oval spaces for flower mounting plus 2 envelopes, 2 gift tags, 2 book marks and 2 self sticking book mark covers, some instructions and something called a flower press tool which I haven't found a use for yet. The instructions were very useful for helping to set everything up; I'm a flower pressing novice so I needed the assistance! I also didn't realise pressing takes 6 to 8 weeks to work - perhaps I should do some better research! I found the press simple to set up and use, although I did find that when lining up the bolts, the holes were shadowed by the cardboard which had to either be pushed aside or be cut away which I felt was a bit of a design flaw. Overall it's a nice set but quite cheaply made, some quality was disappointingly low, such as the frame. However it's Still a good pressing starter set and reasons me value for money.

Very disappointed, screws for bolts dont align and no wing nuts on the screws as advertised on the pack, which means you can't use it. Accessories are cheap and nasty. Card inserts for between look as if they,ve been cut up at random from a cardboard box [the card used on the box Amazon delivered in was far better quality]. I wanted this for card making, way too small couldn't get a card into it. Wouldn't recommend much too flimsy.
