Fun, inspiring, relevant

Interesting and enlightening
This book explains a lot of what the Chinese culture is about. Everything from why some of the more rural areas hold particular animals in esteem or disdain; and how the cultural mindset of 'the greater good' is reflected in the way they conduct their lives. Entertaining and informative.

Lots of topics, thorough resource
Beautiful collection of sayings, Chinese translations & pronunciations, and interpretations. Covers a multitude of useful subjects, well organized.

Very insightful, but the characters don't show up.
As others have mentioned, it is a very interesting and insightful book with much useful information. My only complaint is that the Chinese Hanzi characters are not showing up on my Kindle. I appreciate the pinyin and the translation, but I would like to also see the Hanzi characters that go with them instead of little rectangles.

Great Wisdom!
There is great wisdom in this book and it is very easy to read. I open it up from time to time when I need inspiration.

This has a nice blend of Chinese culture and language -- while trying to learn the language I find this interesting to dip into.

The book is almost 100 pages less than the printed version and seller unable to explain fully on the reason.
