Great tracker. Could not be happier
Firstly I am a genuine purchaser and reviewer of this Tracker... As in the title above, I could not be happier with this Tracker, despite my scepticism before purchasing. It works perfectly as it should and is easy to set up and register the tracker on their website. This is for a business vehicle (delivery van) but I have been testing it for over a week in my car and it works perfectly, and is accurate in its positioning, and has only used 22 pence during this time ( about 1 hour driving per day) so the cost will be minimal even when installed into the van. Both the mobile app and desktop app work fine with no issues (and are free with no subscription fees, unlike some others). The live location is updated every 10 seconds which is perfectly fast enough and you can review previous journey routes etc. As regards, the SIM card, I opted for o2 "Classic" Pay as you go SIM (purchased two cards for 20p online... bargain), which has extremely low data cost of 1p per MB. Note: these SIm cards are no longer available from o2 but still plenty available online from other vendors and the tariff is still available provided the card is registered before the "must be activated by date" on the card packaging. (Mine were before 24-11-21). The o2 site says that the card remains active provided it is topped up every 6 months, but forums suggest this is not true and they used to specify every 999 days, and people have not been cut off if not topped up every 6 months? so time will tell, but I doubt i will use £10 in 6 months?? You have register the new SIM o2 card via the o2 website and initially put it in a o2 (or unlocked) phone to activate it. ( i also switched of voice mail by dialling 1760 , just i case it incurred charges if someone tried calling the mobile number). I initially topped up with £10 (also got £5 credit added for free for some reason a couple of days later) on the o2 website and can monitor the balance on the "my o2" website or app. So in summary, I would not hesitate in purchasing one of these Trackers. In fact I am about to order another for our second delivery van. Very impressed!

Useful info...
This review is based on a months use for myself and information from my partner who has had one for nearly 12 months. Firstly the app, many reviews say it doesn't work, correct if you're downloading from the QR code on the information leaflet included in the box, this takes you to the PRO app, which doesn't find the tracker, you need to search the app store for the regular Tracksolid app, then you'll be able to set up and attach the tracker. It's easy to use and install, the geozones you can set are good whereby you receive notifications when the vehicle has entered and exited the zones. The playback function is useful also to view the routes you have driven. Battery life isn't long when unplugged. Issues I have encountered- tracker signal is poor in my vehicle, often doesn't track the route and jumps from the start location to the end location, whereas when used in my partners car it worked perfectly. The geozone notifications aren't normally received by my device either. However my partners works perfectly, he cannot fault it. Having used both trackers in both vehicles, I suspect additional security on my vehicle is causing the signal issue, as both work well otherwise. I would recommend for a cheap and easy tracker, it is better than nothing but there are issues that could be resolved to make the user experience smoother.

Brilliant... !
This is so easy to use, accurate and costs very little to run with the sim. Download the tracksolid app, put the IMEI number into the app, put the SIM in, plug into the OBD...that's it! I nearly sent it back because it stopped tracking, but that was because I clicked the server node in the app as 'EU'....we're not in the EU anymore 🤦 🤣. So I set the server as HK and was back in business. Haven't done the geo fence thing. If it's removed from the OBD you get an alert. You can set loads of different alerts, from engine on, engine off, door open, door closed, collision, oil tampering etc etc. Really happy with it, you can also play back journeys and I can see exactly where the car is when it's not on our driveway 5*

What a nightmare
Really complicated to set up. Eventually got it up and running with a clear and continuous blue GPS light. The Tracksolid app refused to recognise the IMEI number repeatedly stating the 'device does not exist'. Support went around the houses with stupid comments like, 'try putting the IMEI number manually instead of scanning it. Really! As if I didn't try that. Then asking is I had registered the device via the app. You don't 'register via the app, you do so via the Amacam website. You 'create an account' via the app. I was asked to create an account again and re-input the verification code. You can't though once an account has already been created. Finally told to take the vehicle for a drive to allow for a strong GPS fix. This is not in the manual! Surely the steady blue light means there is a strong GPS link? Hmm. We'll see!

No Subscription!
This tracker is very good and keeps the cost down compared to trackers that need a subscription. Top up the SIM card provided and it’s good to use. Highly recommend!

Worked fine
Easy to use and set up. The only downside is that it does not have any monitoring for when the car is moved without your knowledge despite the app suggesting otherwise.

Fantastic little tracker
This is a great little GPS tracker, just pop a SIM card in, install the app, plug the tracker into the car socket and it just works, so simple! The accuracy seems fine and the app features are good plus easy to use.

Good product.
I decided to give it a couple of days before leaving a review. Overall I’m very impressed with this product, it is certainly good value for money. There could be a few improvements but it does the job and seems to be relatively reliable thus far. The first evening it seemed to go offline for a few hours but I think their system had gone down as I couldn’t even access their website. As long as this isn’t a regular occurrence then it shouldn’t be a problem..... only time will tell. Since then it has worked great. I have used an O2 Pay as you go sim as they are the best value for data at just 1p per megabyte. It has barely used any of my credit since I have installed it. There are of course other networks you can use but don’t go with 3 or any network that runs on 3 as it won’t work with this product. This needs a 2G service which 3 don’t offer. 1p Mobile is also good value as it is 1p per megabyte and they run on EE. However, if you get a good O2 signal where you are then go direct with O2s classic PayG sim as 1p mobile make you top up £10 every four months to keep your sim active which is essentially a disguised £2.50 per month contract. You probably won’t be using anywhere near £2.50 a month in data with this product. Anyway, back to the product. The setup was extremely easy as long as you register the device through the website and setup the app according to instructions. The app is simple to use but some of the English is quite poor so it is difficult to grasp what some of the functions actually are. Apart from this little gripe, it does the job of being able to pinpoint the location of your vehicle and playback your routes. I’m not sure what the benefit of playing back my routes are..... but it’s an enjoyable feature nonetheless.
