How long will these burn for in an open pit for a camp fire?

Depends on how big the fire pit is, but expect a net to last the night.

Are these logs suitable for smokeless areas like London?

Yes, they are not smoky logs, we use them all the time

Is this just one bag??

From memory it was 1 bag and lasted a few evenings
