Worked very well. In the past when we've had a water-bed leak we've drained the bed, cut up the mattress and installed a new one. My husband thought he could fix the leak - our first attempt failed - but then he saw the ideal repair kit - it's lasted about a year so far and saved masses of work. All the waterbed shops around us have closed over the past 40 years, so this was an excellent solution.

It works well on water beds even if a little water is present on the surface. I have punctures that the patch kit has sealed for over ten years and multiple moves. If you find you made the patch too small to seal properly, put a much larger patch over the smaller one and slather both the patch and the surface with glue.

After trying a different patch kit that didn’t work I went looking for a different one. Found this one. Very easy directions to follow. Placed the patch on my bed and no issues. It has held up well. I have a super single bed, and I tend to toss and turn a lot. I am also on the heavy side. My hole developed in the center of my mattress. So this patch has a lot of stress on it! Absolutely no issues. It saved me a lot of money and work by not getting a whole new mattress. Give it a try and save your money and your bed!

This is a good product that for over 40 years we've used when needed to stop small pin hole leaks and pricks without having to use the patch material that comes with the product. This especially holds true if you ensure you keep the area you're sealing from having any pressure on it and undisturbed so air can circulate and allow to dry and cure (usually about 24 hrs). Nothing fixes a seam leak or a leak that is underwater. But if you've had an accidental prick or small puncture (such a cat claw, etc.) to cause a slow "bleeder type" leak, this is going to be your best bet as the times we've used it, it's worked well and lasted for years without issue.

The waterbed mattress spring a tiny pinhole leak. For those of you who enjoy these mattresses you know a tiny pinhole leak is enough to make you wake up in the night and thank you forgot the diaper yourself. The product works great. I had a hole in my waterbed and I tried so many different products and once I used this, its as if the hole was gone. Easy to use and good price. The reason I gave a three star review is because one out of the two packages came opened and it was missing the plastic part that is used to close the hole and I was not able to return or get a substitute piece. Luckily the pack came as two separate ones and I had enough.

Sealed a leaky seam on my waterbed a couple of months ago.... still holding :) Very happy Edit: Six months and no issues!

Sinds jaar en dag gebruiken we Blue Magic Vinyl om lekken in het waterbed te herstellen. Vroeger de kleine tubes, maar deze blijken toch niet meer de originele formule hebben dan vroeger. Deze grote tubes kleven weer als van ouds. Speciaal in USA besteld, maar bleek toch gemaakt te zijn in China. Maar prima kwaliteit

Thought the patches would be bigger , have placed two on and waiting for them to dry. Came in a pack of 2 as described. Works very well!
