Humminbird 780015-1 CC ICE - Soft Sided Carrying Case

This carrying case suits my Humminbird ICE-35 just fine. At first I thought it might be a bit too snug, but with minimal effort I found it fit the flasher just perfectly - it just takes a little work. I completely agree with the other consumers that have written reviews on the CC-ICE case, in the sense that the product description can be somewhat confusing. Humminbird (for some strange reason) describes the CC-ICE case as designed for flashers with no shuttle. No worries, The entire flasher - shuttle, battery and all fit snugly inside the soft sided case. I used it out on the ice this past "hardwater" season and loved it. Hard plastic base, full length zippers front and back, pockets on the side, and you don't even have to remove the entire unit to charge up for another trip out to the shanty. Flashers are the best way to help to put fish on the ice, and eventually into the frying pan. Sure, a case isn't necessary, but once your expensive flasher takes a dive into a foot of snow while you're setting up your gear, you'll wish you had one. That's why I ordered mine!

Just got the Ice35 this past season. Decided I wanted to protect it with the case. The unit fits great and seems of good quality. Front and back zippers to access the unit and battery. Also has room to keep the charger stored on top of the battery(without the case this would just fall out of the shuttle). Title is confusing since they say case without shuttle. This just means that the case does not come with the shuttle. When you buy the Humminbird it comes with the shuttle. Not sure why they even mention it to confuse you. At first I thought it meant the unit would only fit in the case without the shuttle. Not true. The only reason I gave this 4 out of 5 stars was because the unit price. I thought the case was a bit on the steep side for just some nylon with zippers and a plastic bottom. But its worth it to keep your Humminbird safe during travel.

Works very well. I thought it would have a handle but it only has a pocket to stick your fingers in to use the handle of the flasher. Easy to use and you can access front and back.

You'll want to protect your investment, ICE35 or ICE45. The ICE55 comes with this carry case. The cover keeps the back of the unit covered from drifting snow, with easy access zippers for the battery and the zipper front allows east access to the front. The front flap opens fully to expose unit's controls but the best part is that the flap zips all the way down to keep the transducer and the connecting wires from falling out of the shuttle compartment. Made of tough material, zippers have large enough tabs to operate with gloves on. The cover is easy to put on or take off, after a day on the ice for drying, but you won't need to do either to charge the battery. I would not make this kind of investment in outdoor electronics unless I could protect it with a quality cover. This is custom made for the ICE35 & ICE45

I bought this for my son and I believe he likes it and uses it every time he goes fishing. It seems to be made well and fits very well. Sorry I cannot say much more but I am not the one who uses it.

I purchased a used Humminbird ICE 55 fish locator which did not have the soft carry bag. It was nice to find one on Amazon at a discount, plus I have $25 in points on my Amazon.com Visa card, so it is only $22.00. I will feel better about transporting my locator when I have the soft bag to protect it. Last weekend we portaged a woods to go to a remote lake with snowmobiles and the locator had a rough ride in the sled with the equipment. If you have the Ice 45 or the Ice 35, you really should get one of these bags to protect your locator. It's great that it has a zipper opening in the back for charging the battery. Also, there are 2 side pouches for storing the battery charger and other gear.

Purchased as a gift and worked perfectly for them

I bought an ice 45 earlier this week and of course it didn't come with a case. I ordered this case, paid for next day shipping, and I couldn't be happier. My flasher fits perfectly and it seems to be well built.If you are going to spend $400 on a new flasher, buy this case! The handle is a bit small if you are wearing gloves, but I simply attached a handle from my summer tackle box and it is easy to carry. The back flap is great for charging the unit without having to take it out of the case.Long story longer: this is a product which is exactly what is described and works perfectly.
