Carburetor for Intake Pipe Pit Dirt Bike 110cc 125cc 140cc Lifan YX

I've had this for a while, was very apprehensive to 'do' this operation; lol, two bolts off , two bolts on, kick and go. (bike was still warm from earlier) Well I did watch a few videos over the last two months, otherwise forget it. Turn FUEL OFF, remove fuel hose, air filter, take off two mnting bolts, (I didn't need new gaskets nor need to remove riser stem, still perfect) pull carb slightly halfway out of area, unscrew top cap , compress long spring so the cable end can come out. the long slot of the internal slider thing that houses the cable, spring and needle goes to only one way , so you can't really mess it up , don't force anything it should go in and or out very easy. remove old carb, put new one on in reverse of taking old one off, ; feed cable back through top cap, and spring. This part is tricky left hand has to hold cap , spring cable, compress the spring and hold with left hand, grab cable end with right hand , pull it tight till it can be pulled longer than the 'slider' length , fix it into the keeper hole, the one you['d removed the cable from to begin with. slide assembly into new carb, screw down cap. Put main bolts back in, snug, add air filter, fuel line back on, fuel valve on. Kick or push electric start , should start right up. Tool notes for 140cc pit bike; 8mm socket and open end, 10mm socket and open end and hand driver for both if you have them. I removed the spark plug wire to access passenger or rt side of bike to get one of the two 10mm main bolts out. Kick the tire one way or the other to get the fender out of the way so you can us a hand driver to remove the bolts. This is the same carb as the oem as best I can tell, but my oem had had a ton of hours on it so the bike was running poorly, this replacement was a night and day improvement. There's a fuel mix on the bottom , the default setting should be ok... I suggest replacing that screw before installing carb with an aftermarket fuel mix srew, they are longer and extend out with a 4 paddle numbered thumb, easy adjust end. The side adjust that they call air mix, is also called idle adjust , seems that most people tell us that if you need to adjust , screw it all the way in very gently so you don't damage it, and back out 1.5 to two revolutions/turns. Same pretty much goes for the fuel mix screw on the bottom. I hope some of this makes sense and helps someone, go to youtube for a whole bunch of pit bike or just plain 4 stroke fuel mix , and air adjust or air mix, try combinations of those terms in search and those videos can further guide you in the process. Once you've done this you'll never be apprehensive about replacing a simple carb like this one. Best to all/

Honestly I never got the chance to really break it in before my bike was stolen sadly, but as far as it’s delivery it showed up on time if not faster and I just wound up getting and using a shortly after I bought this one right before it was stolen but I believe that’s it on the bike to the right and was pretty easy to install and helped the bike run smoother for the short time I did have it

I put it on 2012 SSR125, Started on 1st kick and running perfect, only thing is the bolts to connect carb to L pipe are too long and hit on the carb on one side

Substantial power increase, but there are some things you need to know about the installation. The bolts that come with it don’t work. The carb does not have any threaded holes. It has smooth holes. So you will need to buy longer bolts and nuts. Works fine but was annoying. The part that raises up and down inside the carb (has a needle and a spring) can be installed two ways. One way only allows for half of the travel up and down, but the other is correct. Make sure it goes all the way up and down inside the carb. Check out the video for the power comparison. Two identical 110cc Apollo RFZ 27 bikes. They are my kids but I rode one and my brother rode the other to test it out. I’m 220 and he’s about 300. When stock I won by about 1/2 a bike length. With the new carb it’s crazy how much more power you get in 2nd - 4th gears. In the video, I start to get the lead once I get into second.

I installed this carb on my son's ATV and after some adjustments, I was able to get it running very well. He enjoyed it for an hour or so and came back in saying it was broken. I readjusted everything and sent him back out with the same result. The hardware and gaskets are of terrible quality and have to be replaced immediately to ensure any kind of proper seal and without replacing the springs on the adjustment screws you will be chasing adjustments and losing hair every moment your kid rides.

I put this on a ssr razkul, it honestly made a big difference, a little intimidating to install at first but it’s really easy, used to barely hit 50mph now I have gotten it up to 62, way better throttle response no more stalls it’s simply runs great it starts up easy in 30 degree weather unlike the old one it kept stalling,I didn’t even touch anything On the carb installed it the way it was it and was great, would recommend... the air filter is a little too big but it’s not that big of a deal well worth the money for what you get...... update not so good leaks bad won’t run good anymore Boggs as high rpm I thought it was good until I got the real one, so save your money and just buy a good mikumi carb and the carb is hard to find jets for and I just couldn’t get it to run right it ran good for a couple of months, almost burned my bike down from the gas leaking out of the drain part of the bowl, get a good one and you won’t spend anymore money on that part of your bike,

Let me start off by saying, this is not plug and play. But it will really wake up whatever engine you put it on. 1. Take the bowl off and insure the jets are clean and reinstall. 2. Adjust air/fuel ratio screw on bottom of carb (see YouTube videos for help) 3. Adjust idle once installed and bike running Iv got it on a 2022 apollo rfz 125 dirt bike and it’s nice once tuned like above^^. Better acceleration, low end speed/torque and better top end speed. Im 5’11 and 230. I was able to hit 52 on a flat county road. Will be ordering another for my next bike.

Purchased for a DB17 TaoTao 125cc pit bike. Couldn't use the air filter. But everything else fit and bolted on perfectly. Mild adjustment to get it to idle good, and now the bike runs great. Would definitely recommend. Much better than the old Chinese carburetor that I couldn't take apart.

If you watch the you tube vid that claims this is the single best thing you can do for your horizontal engine and your original carb is gummmed up, get it. If you want to do what's best for your engine, get a genuine Mikuni. I thought in this day and age ANYONE can copy a carb. Not so. Mixture screw is in the float bowl, so get ready to refit the unit a million times. Doesn't like to run properly either, stalls all the time, which means the needle and seat are poor quality too. If you buy this make sure that you remove the pilot jet and clean it out before you fit it too. The Mikuni is SOOOO much better. It's night and day.

Was skeptical due to mixed reviews, but it works great on my Tao 140cc 4stroke pit bike and fit easily without any mods. The carb says "mikuni" I assume it's a knockoff, but build quality seems good and it's definitely an upgrade from the stock carb. I also shimmed the carb needle up 1 notch richer from stock. Idle valve is on the side, mixture valve is on the bottom (stock position or 1.5-2 rotations out see good starting points). The engine really woke up after installing this carb in addition to upgrading to a caged air filter. Definitely worth the $$ in my opinion

I have had this on my pitbike for 5 months I beat it on it everyday and drive it in the snow. I have never once had a issue with this carb it’s amazing

The grey gasket in the picture was not the same as the one I received and does not fit where it's supposed to. The grey gasket is supposed to be 45mm hole to hole but it's 48mm, so there's no gasket that fits between the intake pipe and the engine! Unfortunate because that grey gasket can be hard to find and can cost more than it's worth (around $10)

I ordered this product 2 times and it broke within one day both times, super brittle and it was just overall bad. It idled so high
