Had ear wax build up for years. My ears can become totally blocked leading to horrible pain in the ear, neck and gums from pressure build-up (plus hearing loss & dizziness etc). Sadly many surgeries seem to have stopped offering ear syringing. I was told to try high street stores like Boots or Specsavers (£55 - £85 ??). Luckily I found this device on Amazon with many fellow sufferers reporting that a combination of ear drops to soften hardened wax followed by this Ear Washer to flush out the blockage once it was softened REALLY does work! So I risked the £25 and bought this kit (along with a bottle of Otex ear drops). Best decision ever! As soon as I put the Otex drops in I could hear/feel little 'fizzes' or 'popping' as the drops started to break down bits of the solidified mass. I (stupidly) tried the Ear Washer that same day. Of course the wax was still solid farther down so couldn't yet be dislodged. So I carried on with the otex drops for two more days, morning and evening. On the third day I tried the ear washer again and after squirting about a third of the bottle into the ear canal I saw some small (pinhead sized) brown bits in the sink. After pumping about two thirds of the bottle into the ear suddenly a large mass fell out into the sink and the pressure and discomfort in my ear was gone! So please don't give up hope if you're in this situation. If the Otex drops and this Ear Washer worked for me they can do the same for you. I would just say that ... 1). You MUST follow the instructions. You have to loosen/soften the wax plug with drops first. 2). Use (Otex?) drops to loosen the hardened wax (if you are that badly blocked). I think you need to keep using them until you no longer hear/feel 'fizzing' in your ear as the drops break down hard wax. 3). When you think (hope!!) the wax is sufficiently softened try the Ear Washer. 4). Gently warm some water for the ear washer bottle (I microwaved some water in 30 second increments until it felt pleasantly warm but not hot ). Fill the bottle and attach your choice of nozzle. 4). Holding your ear with one hand insert the Ear Washer nozzle and begin to squirt the warm water into your ear. 5). Work 'around the cavity' with the washer jet. Pull your ear in different directions to open the ear up for the water jet. 6). Be patient and keep squirting. 7). If the water seems to be hitting a solid blockage and causing a pressure build up then you probably need to continue with the drops as the blockage is still too hard to be washed out. 8). If the blockage has been softened then continuing to squirt warm water around the ear cavity should first start to free small bits of the wax and eventually will probably flush out a large piece (of fairly disgusting looking gunk!! I found the cup/basin was too fiddly. Water trickles down the side of your ear/face. Just take your top clothes off and lean over a sink or bath, it's much easier. I also found the larger/wider 'triangular tips' much easier to use than the long thin flexible head on the rubber tube. The 'triangular tips' can't be pushed too far into the ear and the wide head makes it easy to rotate the jet around the ear canal. This makes it much easier/safer to use these heads. Remember: You aren't blasting the blockage out you are gently flushing it away from the ear canal walls and eventually washing it out of the ear. I really suffered with pressure pain when my ears got blocked so I truly sympathise with anyone experiencing this. I have found my solution here and just hope other sufferers can do the same! This device plus ear drops costs less than £30, and it really does work. You may need to spend a few days using the drops (3 days for me with a very badly blocked ear) but you'd have to do that anyway. The Ear Washer will then let you dislodge the softened blockage and wash it out. And you will have then a solution that you can use again and again for yourself if/when your ears get blocked again. I don't normally write reviews but I have to with this. My ears have been giving me trouble for years, especially my left one, as I work security and having to wear earplugs most shifts in my left ear and a radio earpiece in my right ear didn't do my ears any favours. They recently got really bad with blockage and I could barely hear out of my left ear and I'd looked online at professional ear cleaning and the price was pretty step at around £60 to £80, so I figured I'd buy this and give it a go myself along with a £10 earwax softener which I put on the night before and then the morning when I planned to use this ear cleaner. I was shocked at how well it worked. I mean massive amounts of earwax was just falling out of both my ears. I filled it up twice for both ears and it genuinely cleaned out what I imagine to be years of ear was build up. I actually never realised how bad I'd let my ears get until I seen what came out when cleaning them and also how bad it had made my hearing, as after using this my hearing was so much better as if the volume had suddenly been turned up. My ears were a bit tender after but only for a few hours. I'd honestly recommend this to anyone who is having trouble with ear wax buildup that is causing mild discomfort and making it hard to hear, especially as the money it will save you instead of having a professional do.

Fantastic piece of kit. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I think it's overpriced and the plastic bottle could be of higher quality. If it had included the ear wax softener and the solution you mix in the water at this price point I would have given it 5 stars. To be fair this particular product from this company came with more accessories than most of the others at the same price. That said, this thing works wonders!! Removed a small ball of hard wax from both ears and actually improved my hearing. Bear in mind I clean my ears at least 3-4 times a week and only bought this product because of recent issues with my left ear. Left ear felt 'popped' all the time. After using this that issue is gone. How I used it. I used the ear wax softener/remover drops and let them sit in the ear for 15 minutes. After that I used the bottle with the flexible ear attachment filled with warm water. I sprayed it in quite fast and moved the ear piece about a bit until all the water was gone. I did this twice on both ears but the wax ball came out during the first spraying on both ears. I was honestly think this is the only way to truly clean your ears at home. I've used buds and wax remover all my life and never had these results.

After I complained about my hearing being poor for the last couple of weeks, my GP saw I had a large build-up of ear wax, and suggested I try this (after softening the wax with Earol) instead of paying for a professional to do it. I bought this kit and tried it, this evening, even though I was *very* sceptical. I'd used Earol once or twice a day for 4 of the last 6 days (I'm terrible at remembering to do this) and when I tried this kit tonight it dislodged a clump of wax from both ears about the size of a small bee! I was genuinely surprised at how well it worked, and how simple it is. I didn't find the water-catcher worked particularly well — at least not as well as the front of my shirt — but for doing the job of loosening and removing ear wax, it is a great little kit. Highly recommended.

My daughter had a blocked ear for nearly a week and this was a last resort before paying someone professionally to do it. Very impressed with this product on the first attempt on using it you could see the wax buildup coming out. Her hearing was back to normal straight after just one time use, used olive oil to help soften it and then the following day used this and worked a treat

Please make sure you read the instructions first to get an idea of what you want. It comes with allsorts of nozzles, tips and tubes, it is a bit of a hassle at first to put together, this is a case of trying it out but trust me my god you need this if you have impacted ear wax or blockage. I have tried the usual ear drops, otex, medi grade olive oil before using this product to see if that would shift it and I was desperate, I had tinnitus (like a constant roaring fire) in my ear and muffled hearing to the point I had gone deaf, 2 weeks of this, Otex express was useless and I felt made it worse, olive oil wasn’t shifting it either, and paying £60 to have one ear syringed by a professional (which I was told to go to by a gp under nhs) was not an option. So looking up on here and saw this, read the reviews and bought it straight away, at the price it is you can’t go wrong at all! It comes with everything you need including an over the ear tub to catch all the water and debris/wax that comes out of your ear, you have to size it to your ear by the way so it hangs snuggly, I will suggest you need someone else to help you with this and with the nozzle, it’s definitely not a one man job! I first tried with the small nozzle which seemed to do nothing at first (make sure you use one part hot kettle water and one part cold so it’s tepid) I was a bit dubious but this is where you need to spray for a bit, the wax softens and it shifts it even if you don’t get much out (you need to persevere but not too long if you get any pain) so I switched to the solid larger white nozzle that fits straight to the sprayer, bingo some wax debris started to come out, you can only take so long try not to take a while doing this. Anyway I started to get a bit of hearing back and what sounded like crackling in my ear. Next day I could hear further and I could feel the impacted wax had shifted so I sprayed again, well, I got more than I bargained for, huge bits of impacted wax blown out to the entrance of my ear, which I could get my partner to gently scrape out (again persevere), I won’t go on but I can hear everything, it’s an absolute magical feeling, please please get this, saves time and money and yes it’s most safe to use, i am so blooming glad I got it! Honestly don’t waste your time on ear drops and GP! Get this! But again please read the instructions!

I recently took my 5-year-old daughter to a private clinic to get her ears checked, and the camera photos showed they were completely blocked with thick wax. Unfortunately, she flat-out refused to let them do the microsuction. I decided to try this product instead, and lo and behold, look what came out! It took about two bottles of flushing to finally dislodge the stubborn buildup, but it worked miracles. We went back to the private clinic afterward so they could check her ears with the camera again, and the pictures speak for themselves—completely clear! Highly recommend for parents dealing with stubborn earwax.

I bought this along with a Bebird camera type device as my local GP stopped doing earwax clearing & it was cheaper than 1 appointment so I thought I'd give it a go. Easy peasy to use, cleared my ears in no time at all & the wife did hers after as well. Very happy with the purchase

Mein linkes Ohr war nach dem Duschen oder Baden oft zu. Es dauerte meistens den ganzen Tag bis ich wieder gut hören konnte. Daher suchte ich nach einem Gerät die Ohren zu reinigen. Ein Arztbesuch ist zeitlich aufwendig und diese wollte ich mir sparen. Zunächst war ich aufgrund der Bewertungen skeptisch, ob Medi Grade mein Ohr freimachen könne. Die Aufsätze haben mich jedoch überzeugt es zu bestellen. Lieferung wie immer sehr schnell. Der Ohrreiniger war steril verpackt und machte inkl. der Aufsätze einen guten Eindruck. Die Ohrwanne hat ergonomisch absolut nicht zu meinem Hals-Kopfverhältnis gepasst. Daher entschied ich mich die Ohrspülung über dem Waschbecken vorzunehmen. Nunja, nach 1 kompletten Flaschen- Wasserspülung lösten sich nur kleine Partikel. Also ließ ich die Ohren einweichen , während ich die 2. Flaschenfüllung vorbereitete. Am Ende der 2. Flaschenfüllung angelangt, war das Ergebnis erneut... kleine Partikel. Kurz vor dem Aufgeben bemerkte ich, dass ich im Ohrgang etwas ertasten konnte. Also bat ich jemanden um Hilfe- so konnte eine Kugel Ohrenschmalz mit einem dünnen Gegenstand leicht aus meinem Ohr befreit werden. - Dies wiederholte ich mit der 3. Spülung beim 2. Ohr und auch hier konnte die 2. Kugel manuell entfernt werden. Fazit: Mit beiden Aufsätzen, abwechselnd und Geduld, funktioniert die Entfernung von Ohrenschmalz! Ich kanns empfehlen!

I’m so happy I bought this ear cleaning system. My wife has been having problems hearing for several months and we thought it was part of normal ageing. She has small earholes so I couldn’t see anything blocking her canals. Anyway we bought the kit and I connected a soft tube and pumped about half the container of plain warm water– nothing. We waited a couple of hours and I tried it again. I wouldn’t have believed she could have had that much wax in her little ear. The wax came out easily and without any discomfort so we were very impressed. There might be similar systems on Amazon that are just as good but we are happy to recommend this one. It seems to be very well made and worked like a charm. The only problem is I can’t get away with anything as she now has the hearing of a owl.

Llevo desde el domingo por la noche utilizando el taponoto para que el tapon este más blando, me ha llegado hoy miércoles, lo he utilizado está noche y perfecto. Rápidamente ha quitado el tapón. Ahora le utilizaré una vez al mes para mantener limpios los oídos. Para nada me he mareado, es lo mismo que cuando te lo quita la enfermera, incluso mejor porque no notas tanta presión

J’ai suivi les commentaires, mon fils avait un bouchon de base dans une oreille. Après 4/5 jets d’eau le bouchon est sorti. Je recommande vivement même pour nettoyer quotidiennement pas du tout agressif très doux comme jet d’eau .
