This device has been the best purchase ever. We live in the woods and we need to relocate venomous snakes. This is a humane way to move snakes away from our house/pets. It is sturdy and very useful. The option to extend the tongs gives us peace of mind. Love this snake tong.

This was by far the best designed and most robust snake stick available. If you encounter dangerous snakes on the regular basis it is definitely worth the money.

With us having a few ponds, we have snake issues in the summer trying and succeeding on getting our eggs and some can be poison ; we are not close to a hospital and taking care of chickens can be costly today. They have been known to take out certain peoples chicken/s. This has worked great. It extends and is sturdy. It will help you to relocate and comes with a bag. It has helped us to position ones that we did not feel safe about relocating and had to handle in other ways.

Looks like a quality product. We usually have several snakes wander through our property monthly. Since receiving this product several months ago, we haven't had any of those visitors so haven't been able to try it out.

This snake tong is beautifully made and should make it a likewise beautiful experience handling a snake from a safe distance. When extended to its full length (86") I feel as if I could confront a black memba, a baby anaconda or a king cobra. However, at full length it feels slightly wobbly as if it would render it hard to lift a snake that just had its thanksgiving turkey.The latch is totally useless and was apparently designed for a purpose unrelated to snake and venom. It should have been engineered to hold the serpent in position thus freeing hands for other related matters.The included bag is nice and I will find some other use for it; I am not yet bold enough to have a serpent close enough to my body to be able to charm it into a bag. I won't be trying that trick anytime soon!With the minor shortcomings I would recommend this snake grabber if cost for higher priced ones is a concern. I am still giving it a 5-star ratings as it appears to be efficient as is.

The media could not be loaded. So in our community we have had allot of rattlesnakes coming into yards and garages so I checked some reviews on Amazon and found this guy. Little did I know I would be using so fast since purchasing it. I leave it by front door just incase we need it really fast. The grip on snake was really good, once it was in there it did not come loose at all.

We live by 2 ponds and 20 acres of woods, a pool, so we have Snakes. We have seen more Snakes this year than the 15+ plus years we have owned the property. So this was a must have and the longer the better.

Caught my first snake of the season with this today. I had been using generic suction cup end grabbers and it worked but the snake wasn't at all secure and could squirm away. This thing had a stable enough grip that I could call my kid over to take a look. I've ordered 2 more to have 2 at the house and 1 at my barn. Works great, just want to make sure I have one within reach where I need it.
