In general, stiffer shafts are matched to the larger and more powerful blades. Pro and Apex shafts are seamless with no weak joining points resulting in strongest construction possible. Sanded finish eliminates the need for wax, giving the paddler perfect grip. Hybrid shaft incorporates bamboo finish for added durability.
