Are these dishwasher safe? I know some ceramics aren't.

How does the salt dispense, and how does the pepper dispense? is it a even shake / pour? does it clog? etc... thank you.

You fill the dispenser from the bottom and the salt/pepper comes out the top. They shake out very nicely. They are so cute. I've received many compliments on how cute they are.

Is it BPA and cadmium free?

It is ceramic, so BPA doesn't apply, BPA is only for plastics. Cadmium? Honestly don't know but again, high fired ceramics so I can't imagine there is.
