I like to get the ChapStick varieties and try them, the different scents and flavours can be fun and the price is usually reasonable (you can catch them on sale.) In one of those packs I got this flavour. I liked it well enough to buy it again. The scent is very pleasant, not overwhelming and the flavour is sweet if I lick my lips. If I'm wearing something else I find myself reaching for the ChapStick just to get the scent because it's so good.

Literally the best flavor out of all the chapsticks!! The only one that works for me and it’s so hard to come by, I can only find in one store so I just decided to make a subscription to make sure I’m never without it. BEST DECISION.

Chapstick is a good product for lip moisturizer, but this item was selected because it smells like vanilla!

I really love this Chapstick! It smells wonderful, it tastes great and it’s very moisturizing. The only thing I’m disappointed about with it is that the flavor doesn’t last long at all. You can taste it as soon as you put it on, and the flavor really is amazing, but right after applying it the flavor goes away in just a few seconds. So that’s the only reason why I removed one star. Other than that it really is a great product, it keeps my lips feeling moisturized and soft and that’s what matters most to me.

I had been eyeing it for months, but since it's imported from the US it can be pricey so I waited for a sale to get it, and I have absolutely no regrets. All this time I expected an overpowering artificial vanilla scent but was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's actually quite a humble scent of cake batter and has a slightly sweet buttery taste, not off-putting in the slightest. The taste is barely there after a few licks which could disappoint some people but hey, it's for the best as a lip balm. As for moisturizing capability and texture, I find it to be similar to eos. It's the pinpoint perfect texture; soft and smooth, not too greasy or too thick. Plus it also lasts long and doesn't come off when I drink anything. The scent isn't perfumey or something I'd get sick of overnight, unlike with Lip Smackers. (Sorry Lip Smacker fans) And as someone with sensitive skin, this lip balm did NOT give me any allergic reactions. So here comes the big question: is Chapstick Cake Batter overrated? Not at all. I think it does indeed deserve its hype, it's a fun lip balm that actually does its job well. I can't even think of any critiques, I'm just thinking about how good it smells and how happy I am that I finally got to try it. (I wish they sold these in Canada!)

Buttery soft texture and creamy vanilla scent. Really does smell like cake batter! Doesn’t really have a flavour from what I can tell, but that’s okay. ♡

The smell is so freaking amazing and I'm in love with the consistency. It's light, but it doesn't wipe off immediately, which is great. It almost reminds me of the Burt's Bees vanilla bean lip balm, but just on steroids. The scent is really similar, but in this one, the vanilla is more prominent and cakey, and it really gives me Up & Go vanilla ice vibes. Anyways, just buy this amazing lip balm now, you wont regret it :)
