This is a great hair color, I purchased it multiple times. Fades out true to tone, and keeps my hair soft and style able. The color is incredible!!

I didn’t try this hair treatment because of its hair-aging conditioning properties. I bought it because of the vast array of shades available! The major commercial brands often can’t l deliver the Violets and Plums , in particular. I ordered the Violet Neutral brow and it looks really nice.

It's a joke with my friends that I have naturally purple hair, my hair just doesn't realize it. I've had some shade of purple hair for the past 15 years. I either go to the salon for my purple, or I do it at home with a very specific brand, but decided to try this one, instead. It has a lot of ratings that are very positive, and it covers gray (so it says). I used the medium plum brown, which CLEARLY shows that it's purple on the product page and on the box. When I first dyed it and washed it out (using the AGE beautiful toner it recommended), it was purple and brown (attached picture on the left). It was absolutely not what I expected, but it was ok and I would have given it 3 or 4 stars at that point. But the second time I washed my hair, with a very high-end color-safe shampoo that I use specifically because I keep my hair dyed purple and want my hair to be both vividly colored for as long as possible as well as super healthy, that second time washing my hair removed all traces of purple! I have a beautiful shade of brown hair, and truly, I do like the brown, but I didn't buy this dye to have pretty brown hair. The thing is, I KNOW how to take care of dyed hair. Like I said, it's been colored for 15 years. I have never had the purple last for only a couple of days, even with semi-permanent dye, let alone something that was meant to be permanent! I do not recommend this dye, at all.

This is a GREAT product vs. box colors available years ago! If you have sensitive skin, or sensitive to fragrances/chemicals, I can definitely say this works well, especially on tough roots, gray/white/mix, and smells great afterwards. But the color does wash out quickly, so think of it like washing your clothes: don't shampoo color in hot, use tepid/cooler water to make color last. Can only speak of my experiences, but I don't use salon brushes, foil, etc. I just section out my hair, do roots first, then pull it through the ends. Also, with this product vs. others, I've found I have to set it longer than directed... but everyone's different. Lastly, when the color starts to fade (for me, a few washes), it blends well with natural hair color. Product is good value, even if you have to color more often, vs. spending $$$ at a salon.

I prelightened my hair to make sure to get the most vibrant results. Unfortunately I got more brown than plum. I'm not sure how long lasting it is yet. I'm hoping it will fade quickly so I can fix it without having to strip it again. My hair also looks damaged. * Note I used a blue, plum and red permanent dye for an attempted ombre effect.

This isn't worth a $1 honestly. Such of waist of time and money. All it really did was burn my scalp and tinted my hair slightly. This is the worst hair dye I've ever used.

This dye claimed great coverage on gray hair but it was too light and then washed away very quickly. It felt like semi permanent dye. I usually leave it for 45-60 mins. This time I left it for 40 mins. But still the result was underwhelming.
