I am really excited to use this book. Right now I only have resources that I find to use in my classroom for writing and this book walks students through all of the writing process. It also has grammar practice as well. Each lesson is broken down into easy to understand activities. It also includes the answer key as well as sample writing pieces.

I get these for the summertime for my son and they are really good. They get you prepared for the next grade. I will be getting this again. I believe this is one of the better books that you can get to help your child do better in school

I’m giving this 4 stars because it actually gets my 6th grader to put a pencil to paper without a full-scale negotiation. It’s pretty straightforward—no flashy graphics or interactive pop-ups—but the writing prompts are actually interesting. It covers everything from personal narratives to 'how-to' guides, which is great for building that foundation. It’s a solid, dependable workbook that does exactly what it says on the cover. It won't turn them into Shakespeare overnight, but it will definitely help them survive middle school English.

The Spectrum 6th Grade Writing Workbook from Carson Dellosa is fantastic! The pages are colorful and engaging. They include subjects such as Foundations of Writing, Writing to Inform, Writing a Narrative, and Writing an Opinion. These are all phenomenal things to use either for summer bridge material or as a supplement to classroom assignments. These are highly engaging and include supplementary writing prompts and colorful reference charts at the back for students as well. I highly recommend this book!

This so perfect for teaching kids how to write and create speeches. It goes over paragraph formation, sentence structure, tone of paragraphs and essays, and more. There ar e any activities in the book to help them learn how to write well and it’s great for going over reading comprehension skills.
