FURminator Small Cat deShedding Tool for Short Hair

Best cat comb ever! It took me a while to buy this comb due to the price, but now that I have it, it’s worth it. My cats did not want me to stop grooming them with it and the amount of fur I got off of them was ridiculous. It’s really easy to use, kid and pet-friendly. It’s one of the sturdiest combs I have ever held. My cats are so clean, shiny, and soft now. Finally no dandruff on my older cat. Definitely recommend it.

My cat normally doesnt like being brushed at all, but after just a few minutes of brushing, his demeanor changed, he relaxed and really enjoyed it. Plus, the product did a great job in a short amount of time.Perfect for cats with short fur. I m really pleased that I bought this product.

Amazing. Wish I had bought this sooner. A regular brush does not get the undercoat. The amount of hair I got off my cat was incredible. Every cat owner should have this. Seriously.

I’m very impressed with this deshedding tool. It is one of the best ones I have ever used. The reason I am rating it four stars rather than five is for a couple of reasons: 1) the price tag is a bit steep for my liking. 2) while the tool is wonderful at deshedding, it takes multiple, multiple, MULTIPLE passes along the fur coat to be efficient. It does not pick up much hair at a time. That is a con for me. My cats are not ones that like to stay still for me to do multiple passes, but I was able to make it work. See pic for how well it works at deshedding. It worked so well, I will be purchasing another to send to my sister for her cat. I would definitely recommend this product.

Wow, my cat loved this! He's a short hair cat but his hair is VERY light so when it sheds it flies everywhere. As soon as I started brushing him with this he started purring SO loud! He doesn't do that with the slicker brush, which barely does anything at all. It got a lot of hair out for sure! I wish there was a way to keep it from flying everywhere, though. The brush could stand to be a little bigger too, he fit the size requirements but it just took too many go-arounds and I worried it would be bad for his skin. Other than that, five stars bc of the instant purring!

There are tons of cat brushes out there so I was trying to find something that would work with my cat who sheds SO MUCH that we can make another cat. Now, while I wouldn't mind another cat in the house the personality is lacking hence brushes. Hopefully this review will help people decide which brush will work for their cat. The Furminator without question brushed out the most fur out of the three. It was also the most messy. Unless you mist down your cat or something you will have hair everywhere because it has no static control or anything like that. I also didn't like that the brush had to be cleaned constantly. The part that cleans the brush and pushes the hair forward is pretty unnecessary because you can just pull the hair off no problem unlike the other brushes in this review. I'll be using this on spa days but not as a standard brusher. It left my cats hair soft and smooth so we'll see how it helps long term. The Bonza Silicone brush on the other hand is the lowest level of brushiness in my opinion. If you are looking for something to tidy up your cat that doesn't shed too much and gives a nice massage this brush is the way to go. The silicone statics everything to it really nicely and it gives a good massage that my cat really enjoyed. He purred his way through the whole experience and I like that it fits nicely in your hand as isn't too big. If you want something that will comb out crazy bouts of shedding this isn't the best way to go. It doesn't seem to get in depth enough and too much hair is getting loose around the brush and flying free. It does have a cleaning strainer with it that's really useful since cleaning cat hair out of anything by hand is a pain. Lastly is the Cat Steam Brush. This was actually my favorite of the three although I will be keeping them all since they all are nice just in different ways. This one mists on both a low and high setting which stops all those flyaway hairs. My cat didn't mind the misting although I'm not sure if other cats would. The brush combs them all out nicely and has a push out brush cleaning thing that's really nice. It's method is to keep stuff from flying away while still getting deep into the coat. My cat didn't like the large head at first so I started at the back end and worked forward. He also didn't like it near his face though one he realized that he could rub his chin against it he was all for it. I wish the silicone one had the steaming effect this does but I got some spray that will be coming and I will be combining them to see if it helps. Until then my cat will be doing his darndest to make me another cat and since I can't speak to long term effectiveness for any of them all I can say is that my cat likes them all. In a nutshell: Furminator: use it in a isolated room, possibly with a mask and air vac system lol Bonza Silicone Brush: Great for person and cat 1:1 bonding time and massage with average brushout. Pet Steam Brush: Goes deeper than the Bonza and misting keeps all flyaway hairs from flying away. Bristles go a bit deeper and while the large head may scare some cats the effectiveness is better for really sheddy cats.

This seriously de sheds cat hair so much I had to take a break because it was out of hand. Honestly, I wish it was cheaper but it does the job! Glad I got it

I was definitely a naysayer... How could a $50-$60 brush be that much better? Well, I can definitively confirm...it absolutely is a superior brush. Don't hesitate, buy it. We got so much fur out of our large orange and white Domestic Shorthair cat that I am surprised he has any left on his body. This brush is amazing, and gets right to the undercoat without hurting him, and he loves it. The reduction in hair on the floor (while still there) is significant. I can highly recommend this product.

Compré hace unos meses el modelo anterior de furminator para gato grande de pelo largo pero definitivamente este modelo más reciente chico para pelo corto funcionó mucho mejor para mis 2 gatos, tengo uno de pelo largo y uno de pelo corto, les quita mucho mucho más pelo que el otro modelo aparte de que el tamaño chico del cepillo permite acceder a todas las áreas del gato. Excelente producto 👌

a pesar de que es caro lo volvería a comprar, es increíble como quita el pelo, ayuda muchísimo a reducir los pelos en casa. lo mejor que he probado

Initially, I was using the product the wrong way as a regular brush, but later learned how to use it gently, and this made my cats. Love it. This brush takes off a nice layer of Court, and since then, my fur babies have shed less.
